Seriously? (sojo, are you joking?) I have stayed away because I kind of feel I'm a professional and that once I've done the shop I've earned the money ..... and I shouldn't have to beg or "be grateful to get my money." BUT ..... the more I hear the more proud of myself I feel for staying away ..... I'm just surprised so many are willing to shop for them ..... and wait .... and beg.

The statement is ------>"Our shoppers are usually paid within 60-90 days of submitting an acceptable report and valid receipt. I know they have at least two sites but this is ridulious. I have always had to beg but I was surfing their other site and I came across this subject matter for them.

I like there shops. But the begging is a must. Someof there shop deal with the eco-friendly nature.

I keep the confirmation email and mail it back to them at the end of the 9lst day.
I am still waiting on my March payments. Lucky for them, my computer crashed, therefore I had to reload everything. I finally sent them an email this week-end. I, like many, received an email from Ling, she said the payment would be made via PayPal immediately. That was 2 days ago. Maybe it will happen today.
It has been 5 months since my first set of shops for Goodwin. I finally broke down and sent the payment request. I received an email from Ling stating that the payment would be made shortly. That was3 days ago. I sent another email this morning asking when I should expect payment.

I will update after I know something. I think I will also call.
Once again, msc's like this one should be boycotted by everybody.

Then the clients will have to choose a new msc becuase their shops went unfilled. Hopefully, it will be a more ethical msc.

Note that channelwatch is totally gone because everybody boycotted them...
Who is channelwatch?

G & A is my bread and butter shops when I go out of town. I know when to start begging for my pay. I am sorry but they let you know that payment is 90 days. The fact I have to beg is another thing.

To boycott this MSconpmay is well.......I don't know. But there are other MSCs that have 90 day pay out.....are we going to boycott them?

I don't feel this company is as negectful as Franchise Compliance or as steingy as the Freeman group, but I am only a small fish in the big sea of MSing.

Can the MPSA can do a more about geting MSC to pay a little closer to 60 days? but GAH has a 90+ day payout. All those who shop for them knows that. GAH has an abundant of shops each month. maybe they aren't getting shopped. (I can only do so many.)

I am only voting for GAH b/c I do shop for them, Idon't like the begging.
Channelwatch is one MSC of several who have gone out of business owing shoppers money.

I don't have a problem with Goodwin paying at 90 days as long as they say up front that they pay at 90 days. BUT after 90 days I expect them to actually PAY.. and it seems that they don't. They didn't get on my BAD MSC list because of a 90-day payment schedule. They got on my BAD MSC list because after the 90 days is up they make their shoppers beg before paying. I have no problem with you or other shoppers accepting their shops, knowing that at the end of their 90-day payment period, you will have to beg. We all have different levels of what is acceptable to us. I'm willing to wait 90 days (there are several 90-day-payers that I work for) but I'm not willing to beg.

As far as boycotts, I'm not convinced that a MSing boycott would work. There are too many shoppers who do not read any of the forums ...many who don't even realize they exist. We have posted continuous warnings for over two years about non-payment by Franchise Compliance but daily new shoppers arrive who have recently accepted shops - and not been paid. The same with Freeman. There are too many unaware shoppers, making a constant supply of new victims for the bad guys.

I agree that Goodwin is not as bad as Franchise Compliance and Freeman, who are at the top of the BAD MSC list. But Goodwin is further down on the same list. Both Franchise Compliance and Freeman both used to be better - they did exactly what Goodwin now does. What a sad reference it is for Goodwin to say that they are on the same list as Franchise Compliance and Freeman.
I am happy to report that the email this morning took care of it. They sent the payment to the wrong email address and Ling did forward me that confirmation. Lucky for them, it was not a valid email address.

Yes, I do know that they will pay in 90 days. I do the shops knowing that. It was the 5 months which is 150 days that is not OK. I would not want that to become a habit.

As far as new shoppers, I was there not long ago and compared to many on this forum, I will always be the new kid on the block. It was only recently while I was checking out another company that I actually found is site. So I am glad that I did.

Personally, Goodwin rectified the problem immediately, well, after the got the correct email. That being said, I do not mind the 90 day payout, I just do not want it be longer than that.
