Quizno

Read your guidlines carefully. I just completed a shop for this client. The shop took 1/2 hour. The drive was 8 miles( 1/3 gallon at $3.45 per gallon). Cost of required sub and soda plus tax $7.22. Driving time, and filling out forms 1/2 hours. For a total cost of $8.37 and 1 hour of time. For this I received a total of $9.00 and no reimbersment for food = $.63 per hour. First time a fool but never again

I do these to get a lunch when I have other shops in that area...winking smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
You shouldn't need to read the guidelines to find out that the payment is $9 with no reimbursement. I haven't accepted any of these jobs, but it has been pretty clear to me from the e-mails that the MSC sends out there is a $9 flat payment. I might take one of these shops if I felt like going and having a quick meal but I think the MSC has made it pretty clear that there is no food reimbursement and the $9 is all there is (unless the shop is bonused, and there have been several bonused shops).

Agreed.

But if you look at it differently, you got a free meal for an hour's worth of work. winking smiley
I look at it this way, easy shop, and I am in the area, I eat...the sandwich is good and get paid backsmiling smiley

I love the Quiznos!

I wish there were more of them...

I probrobly should "dissect and analyze" how much I am making to the penny.... but I don't care on this one...I am hungry and get a sandwich that tastes great for my small amount of worksmiling smiley
These shops take me maybe 10 minutes with a 10 minute report.

I am going to TOTALLY try that lemonade now!smiling smiley
If you're driving by and you know you'll need a lunch then they're good value. Otherwise no. I would never make a special trip to do for one and I rarely do a shop that pays that little.
I look for these as my free lunch on shopping days. When I'm planning to shop out of town all day I always look for a place to have free lunch smiling smiley

"It's not THE way, it's just A way"
I would never take one of these shops unless it was bonused. Generally in my area, they get bonused from $20-$40! However, I just received an email asking if I would do another shop for a bonus of $1.00. That's $1.00 folks!! Uh, no!
I agree with the answers I got Thanks for the returns. My problem is I MS for 1 reason $$$$. I guess if shoppers continye to do these shops for the money offered they will never get to the point where we are compensated for the work we do.
I have gone to the Quiznos close to my office on numerous occasions for lunch without a mystery shop. I love the opportunity for a free lunch. The survey takes me less than 15 minutes.
I also love the Potbelly shops! If you like Quiznos, Potbelly is even better!!
They just closed a couple of Quiznos near me. I'm pretty distraught. =(. One of them I don't feel sorry for ... they were shut down by the health department.
Yeah they get heavily bonused towards the end of the month. Right now they are offering $1 (woooohoooooo....not) in my city, but $15 in the next city over (110 miles away...lol). That one normally goes for about $50 bonus, while mine usually gets to $25-30. I have yet to do one though, somebody else grabs it every month...
I just booked three of these shops for this week at $16 each. 2 are within 5 mins of my house and the other is about 15 mins. I never take these shops unless they are bonused. Did one last month for $19.

Edited to Add: Do you guys eat in or get the subs to go? Last time I ate in to give me more of a chance to check out the surroundings.

I saw that and would have taken it if there was one close to me. Flat fee always means flat fee, with a 7.00 purchase, no money out of pocket and an
easy lunch, many are like this. I do a couple burger places, one pays 10.00+reimbursement, the other offers 5.00+food....this is reasonable for
these shops....it's really about the lunch.

Live consciously....
I do Quiznos on my Airport shops. I do them and 2 others in the AM and the next day do 4 more in the PM. I get both reimbursement and fee for all of the shos.

It took you half an hour to fill out the form? My time is about 12 minutes, start to finish. Why would the shop take 30 minutes? My max time is 15. I take these among other jobs, and it's a free lunch. At the end of the month, you can frequently pick up ones that have huge bonuses. These are great shops- and a great company.

I was trying to figure out what to buy for lunch today. I had thought about Lenny's or Scholtzky's for a sandwich. I then get an e-mail for some Quiznos shops near my work with a $3 bonus. I signed up for one and got a free lunch.
They should not take 30 minutes, at all. I am in and out in under ten. I believe the expectation is that from ordering to payment received - under 3.5 minutes. Other than that - check the bathroom, check the surroundings and go.

The report takes about 10 minutes as well.

Here, they add a $10 bonus to every shop in the province mid month. It moves to $20 after a period of time. I grab all of them in my city when the bonuses start - they hardly move at all before the bonus is added.

Always take the high road.
Never heard of Potbelly....sounds good!!!!

I had not either until one opened in my city and I took a shop. Wonderful shakes and subs! Yum yum!
I do the free lunch also. I am in the area anyway. It is like east side marios. We get paid for the meal and that is it, a free meal. I have been paid $20 bonuses + my $9.00 for my meal a few times for Quiznos though. The end of the month is the best, they get desperate to get these shops done.
I forgot to take my lunch to work on Friday, so I was going to have to pay at least $5 to eat anyway. Got an email offering the Quiznos lunch with a $5 bonus, so of course I took it. Wasn't overly impressed with the sandwich and thought it was overpriced, but I got a free lunch and a bonus, so I'm happy.
I've done these. I think they are intended to be "gap fillers". Take them if you are in the area and want a fast free lunch. They are simple and the reports take little time. I doubt that they were intended to actually make you any money, but provide a free lunch for those in the areas. LOL! Maybe there is such a thing as a free lunch!
I had car trouble yesterday while working my Saturday route of shops. It made for a stressful day. And then I had to bring my car to the Nissan dealership and deal with them. But it was a part that was still under warranty (hence the Nissan dealership) so it was covered at 100%.

So how did I celebrate? There was a Quiznos store about 3-4 miles from Nissan so I went in as a REAL customer and ordered the type of indulgent sandwich that I wanted to. I upgraded to a combo so I could get some Baked Lays chips and the awesome raspberry lemonade.

Total amount spent at Nissan = $0.00. Total price spent at Quiznos = $9.09. Total amount of time I saved not having to calculate my gas/mileage and time spent on a report = PRICELESS!
