EASIEST shops ever!

I just did 2 fast food drive-thru shops for insula research, where all I did was order a $1 item and take photos of the drive thru menu board. No narrative, only 2 or 3 questions, done. For $8 each job, that's not bad.

I can top that one...ICCDS has shops that involve walking into a store, having a 2 minute conversation with an employee, picking up a credit application and mailing it to them. The survey is 10 or so questions and a tiny narrative.
I did a convenience store, was in there 3 minutes. Was it clean? yes. Did I get greeted? yes. Was it stocked? yes. thanks for the $12. smiling smiley
The company I did the fast food shops for is named Insula Research, they have a lot of jobs in VA andNC.
Both posters included the names of the companies.

I can top all of youse guys (in my Brooklynese accent). $15, 1 picture that I had to take, and had to ask the salesman 4 questions on 3 or 4 products. The company usually pays within the week via PayPal. A complete piece of cake along with 2 scoops of ice cream, sprinkles and hot fudge. And I did about 3-4 a day for 3 days this week.

Company name: its known by three letters. And its absolutely delicious on how easy it was. smiling smiley
The first in person loan inquiry I did a few weeks ago, took me a total of 10 mins to finish. The paperwork took me a little longer since it was PITA, about 2 hours but for 2hr's and 10 mins, to earn $50 plus a NICE bonus is not bad at all.
Yeah Warrior and I have good news for you. Once you are in their data base and if you want to repeat, no paperwork, 5 min.
Just did two upscale retail boutiques in a large dept. store....10 minutes for one, a makeover and nice samples for the other, a fun easy job, $28.00 for an hours work, with this MSC paying quickly.

Live consciously....
I'm doing the same shops as you this weekend, Cindybaumg. You're right, they are super simple and quick. smiling smiley

I've also done tobacco compliance audits which are sooo fast and easy. 1 minute in store, 5 yes/no questions and one sentence of narrative. Less than 20 minutes total, $10 pay. Although I don't know what to do with the collection of cigarettes I've amassed. tongue sticking out smiley
Can someone help. I've always had issues with viewing shops outside of my area on the prophet system. I click search for jobs outside my area. I drop down the bar and select VA, there is a whole bunch of cities listed. I check each one and it says I am not eligible for these shops. Is there some way I can be eligible for these? Is there something I am missing in the "profile" section?
It's impossible to tell why you would not be eligible without even knowing what the shops might be. If you have completely filled out your profile then you are just fine. We all get the same thing. I know some jobs have disappeared from one of my Prophet companies because you can't be over 50.

Thank you for the fast response, sounds like I need to upgrade my profile some more. I imagine not having a MSPA status excludes me from some shops then.
I don't know why you would think that. Most of us are not MSPA certified. I've been shopping regularly for over 4 years and did so occasionally for several years before that. BTW, Prophet is a reporting platform which is used by a lot of different companies including BMA, Feedback Plus and Dynamic Advantage. If you are too old or too young for certain jobs, there's not much you can do.

Ok, that makes sense. I added my social to the site and magically some shops showed up in VA. Of course, I'm in Nebraska so that doesn't help much. LOL.
There are still a few companies that don't require a social up front, but it's rare anymore. No reason for them to give you access to a job board if it is a requirement. The Prophet companies I'm with all allow self-assign.

Hello. Would like to get into Mystery Shopping. My daughter and I have been researching and we would like some help on how to get started. My daughter has five children and is a Preschool teacher. I work on the weekends and will soon take in my three grandchildren. THis source of income would really help out. Any suggestions on how we can get started?

Please click this link: [www.mysteryshopforum.com] Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and in the posting box, go ahead and say hello!

If you will go ahead for me and start your own thread in the Member Introductions section (at that link above); and I'll post the initial "Welcome to the Forums" letter I try to post for new members.

After that, just start reading. It's how you will learn. Someone on the forums said, "Being a mystery shopper is knowing how to research."

I do not want to "hijack" this thread and go off-topic. You sound like you may be newer to forums, so I'm sure you didn't know. (hijacking a thread means that someone posts irrelevant info in a topic)

Thanks!
