Intelli-Shop

I've been doing last minute (bonused) shops every day this week. The reports are all being reviewed the next day. For those saying they are behind, they must be caught up! I have to run... doing two shops today for them smiling smiley

My reports are reviewed quickly, but they are trying to get by without reimbursing a hotel shop I did.
I signed up for two hotel shops in St. Louis a day apart. My report score was a perfect 10 for both shops with a "thank you etc." on the comments. They usually reimburse the credit card in about 10 days. One was reimbursed after 15 days and I am still waiting on the other nearly a month later.
I e-mailed the scheduler and never got a reply. I e-mailed another contact and got a reply, but he is giving me the run around. He won't tell me why I am not getting reimbursed and says he wants to talk on the phone. He doesn't give his number and he says he is calling me. I have some "unknown" calls that I ignore because if they won't share their name or number, it's usually telemarketers. I don't know why he doesn't give me his number. He says he won't continue e-mailing until we talk.
I'm thinking of reporting Intellishop. I think they want their report, but don't want to pay.
Falconds, I have had a similar experience. I did a hotel shop earlier in the month, and the shop guidelines stated that the charges would be reversed within 5-10 days. I had to email three times to get any sort of response. Then, I was told that the client is processing the reversals in batches.

I just checked my email again, and the acceptance email actually says that the reversals take 10-20 days.

Hopefully it will turn up in the next week or so.

Intelli-shop was the second company with whom I began working with when I started MS in 6/2011. Dozens of shops and literally thousands of dollars later, I can honestly say that I never had a problem. I knew going in that payments could be 60 to 75 days out, even on reimbursed shops. On the shops that I chose to do, both in the field and on the phone, the pay was excellent even factoring in a 2% a month deduction for the fact that my reimbursement money was being held.

The scehdulers are superb. I will not list names for fear of inadvertently omitting one, but I have never had a problem getting the shops that I want, I have had scehdulers go to bat for me with editors over insufficiently documented ratings less than 10 (I maintain a 9 and a fraction average with them), they have assisted me with negotiating absolutely fair and profitable bonuses, and the friendliness and professionalism of the schedulers is unmatched.

Just my opinion; YMMV.
Falconds, how heinous are the hotel reports? I got e-mailed today for a hotel in St Louis that I love, love, love. It is the first time I've ever been tempted to go on a reimbursement only job, but would rather know what I'm up against prior to committing.

Lisa, I did one this month and it was exhausting. We checked in at 4pm, and I did 5-6 hours work (interactions + reporting time) before bed. The next day I had to perform more interactions plus checkout, valet, etc. I think I spent another 6 hours on interactions and reporting that day. I had intended to spend that time with my family, and did not get ANY time with them whatsoever.
Seriously? There were like 5 interactions listed in the e-mail for this one. The hotel is actually a small, boutique hotel with a restaurant and bar. Your hotel sounds huge. Did they give you until the day after checkout for the report?

My report was reviewed and I know I did a great job, I was interested in this yoga-shop newly opened in my town.
I wrote details, no errors and got a thank you for all your information, great report...then a 7 grade. I assked what
I needed to do to get a 10, hand deliver it with a name tag on, or what....still waiting for feedback.

Now that is just plain weird. What could he POSSIBLY want to say on the phone, that can't be said in an e-mail? What a turd. That would piss the hell out of me. I don't answer "unknown"/"unavailable" calls, either.
