Freeman Group Update -- The MSPA Has Acted.

I just found this discussion.
I am from Jakarta, Indonesia
My husband and I did 2 visit for freemangroup in Jakarta, ..................... in March and June 2012 and we have not been paid for this visit.
I sent several email to them but no response at all.
Did anybody get response already from Freemangroup for this payment issue?

Thank you.

I did a ................shop for the Freeman group back on May 4th & they still have not paid me. I have called and left several messages as they will not answer their phones. I have also emailed them over 60 times with no answer. They owe me $106.86 and I really need the money. I can't afford to do work for crooks like this and not get paid. Can anyone please tell me how to contact them or some agency & have them pay me? Thanks ,Bernie
Bernie, use the "Search" function, at the top above the forum lists, and search for "Freeman" and select "all dates." This will bring you all information discussed about Freeman and you will see all suggestions and collection activities. Meanwhile, please use the "edit" button at the bottom of your post and remove the name of the client from your post. Revealing the names of a MSP's clients, even a non-paying one, is a violation of our forum's posting guidelines. Best of luck for collecting, although it appears that they are out of business and payment may not be forthcoming.
My original shop date was March 24th, 2012. It is now November 15th, 2012, and I still have not been paid yet. My many, many emails have gone unanswered. Advice, anyone?
Unfortunately the advice is not happy, pleasant advice. What I would do is kiss the money goodbye. There might still be a chance you will get it and if you do you can feel like it's "found money" - but it is looking very much like there will be no more payments to shoppers. I have been wrong before, but it appears that any shoppers who are still owed money are out of luck.
I am going to small claims court on Monday and filing litigation against them for the amount they owe me ($102.90). I am then going to go to www.judgejudy.com and see if they will accept this case and have them contact Bill Freeman to see if he will agree to go on the Judge Judy show to have this "trial" televised.

Freeman has nothing to loose if he agrees to go on Judge Judy. The Judge Judy show will fly both he and me to tape the trial, and when I win, the show will pay me the $102.90 that Freeman owes me!

There are many other Judge shows on tv, we should all try this with different shows, at least we might even get paid!

I would LOVE to see this on Judge Judy. She is absolutely my favorite. But when a case is heard on Judge Judy, don't both parties have to agree to go to Judge Judy's court and be televised? Somehow I can't imagine Bill Freeman agreeing to appear on nationwide TV. Be sure to let us know if it is accepted so we can watch for it. I'd love to see it.
If Bill Freeman is as "BROKE" as he claims, I think he would agree to go on Judge Judy to avoid having to pay me...
I don't think Freeman plans at this point to pay anyone, whether he is broke or not. And I would disagree that Freeman has nothing to lose by appearing on a TV show broadcast nationwide; I would think he would have quite a lot to lose - and I'm not talking about money. I would love to see Freeman Group brought before Judge Judy because I think she would do a great job with the subject, but I simply don't see that happening. I'll be very surprised if anyone from Freeman Group is willing to be questioned by Judge Judy on TV in front of 8 million viewers about nonpayment of mystery shoppers. I certainly don't see Mr. Freeman or anyone who works for him going through that public castigation to avoid paying a single shopper $102.90. If I were electing to be publicly humiliated to avoid paying a shopper, I would appear with a shopper who is owed thousands - and there are some of those.
Both litigates would be paid to go on tv. Everything paid - air fare, hotels, limos + spending money while in Manhattan.
Despite seeing New York landmarks, Judge Judy is filmed in LA. Litigants are given a flat fee, plus travel. Very rarely is Judge Judy taped in New York, and when it is, they are in Queens, not Manhattan.

I think you'd have to buy Freeman a first-class ticket to get him to fly anywhere!...plus a limo, champagne and a room at the Ritz.

Where else do you think everyone's hard-earned $$ went?
