Second to None Soc # issue

When I logged into my Second to None account, I got a message about providing my social security number because I have done 5 or more shops. Every time I try to enter it I get this message "We were unable to match the supplied SSN, please try again." I am sure I know my social security number! This isn't the first company I have had an issue with. Anybody else have problems like this?

Maybe you did/did not include hyphens or enter them in their format?

I have known another person with same issue. With that person her SS was previously accepted then she got that message. Then had to do it on the phone.
Thanks for the replies... I will call them tomorrow. I thought I had already verified, as well. I emailed them but haven't had a response yet. I tried with hyphens and it tells me invalid format, so it must be without hyphens. Without hyphens give me an error. I want to clear up as soon as possible because I did a few shops this past week for them and I want it to pay out on the 15th (I think that is their next pay out day).
You are right. Jobs completed in July will be direct deposited on 8/15. There is a link to your shop invoices on their website so you can see the payment pending.

Yeah probably someone in admistration was just noticing or it was an automatic email thing. I am sure you will be good.

I'd contact the Social Security office to make sure that someone else isn't using your number - like identity theft or something. Call up and find out, whose name goes with your number.
One tricky thing with SS is it will not verify your number if the names do not match. So if you are shopping with a MI or no middle and your SS has one, it may not verify.

I have wondered about this... There is another company that my Soc. wouldn't verify with. My social security card has my full name on it. When I sign up with the companies I just fill in the blanks they provide. I have been a little concerned about it coming up invalid twice. But I thought, if that is an issue, wouldn't it have come up wrong with other companies that verified fine? If someone tried to steal my identity they might not get too far, at least credit-wise... my credit is so far extended...

I called up Second to None today, but couldn't get someone on the phone that could help me. They said only 3 or 4 of them had rights to update Social Security Number and I'd have to leave a message for one of them sad smiley I am hoping it gets cleared up soon because I want that Aug. 15th payment to go through (all three of the shops I did say payment pending). I could really use that cash soon!
I went online to the Social Security Administration Web site and signed up to be able to get my soc. Statements online. I figured, by doing so, I could verify my Soc. # in the process. My social security number seems fine on their site, so I am thinking it is the way Second to None's system verifies it.
I just wish all MCS would accept my EIN instead of requiring the SSN.

I had the same promlem with STN. I had to call them, and they entered it and it was resolved in less than 5 minuts. They need to fix the page, as my scheduler emailed me several times that she couldn't give me more shops until I entered it.

OH, I can't get more shops until it's entered? Yikes! I better try to call them again. I can't seem to get someone on the phone.
My understanding was you can't get anymore after your first 5 shops, unless they verify it. I don't know if I can submit a phone # on here, but it was just the mainline. They answered within two minutes.

I have the number. I need to call them again. Thankfully, they didn't have any shops I could do the last time I checked.
