Feedback Plus

Sorry, I know I am just missing it somewhere, but does anyone have any information about this company? Do they give feedback? How long does it usually take? I did my first assignment over a week ago. Site says the job was submitted, but that's all it says.

On another note..........

Has anyone ever taken the type of job where you need to pretend to want to buy some pretty expensive stuff (I mean take it to the register and everything) Then back out at the last minute, either because the company wanted to see if the cashier would try to get you to apply for credit or what have you?I seem to be stuggling with this one internally, and just wondered if anyone had tried it. Thanks

I've shopped for Feedback Plus and have not had any problems. I got paid in a month. When you say "feedback" do you mean "paycheck"?

I've taken the shops that you're describing above, checking to see if the sales people suggest credit and looking for in store ads for credit offerings. I found them fairly quick to do and report.

What's the struggle you're experiencing? In my other life I was a shrink and in this one the perfect enabler, so spit it out and we can talk about it.
Marij,

yep I'm just about to do that one too. I'd been seeing them for a long time
but never did one. I'm looking for white jeans. But I'd never pay $300 for jeans unless they were totally made of gold thread. grinning smiley
Lol Marj.

No, by feedback I don't mean paycheck. I don't expect to be paid this soon. Just wondering if it actually says whether the report was accepted or not.

I guess I am just having issues with is making a salesperson (or perhaps owner think they have this pretty big sale in their back pocket and then saying, "haha, just kidding." Going in, pretending to be interested in an item, listening to the sales pitch and saying I need to think about it is one thing. That happens all the time. But actually bringing stuff to the register, letting them ring it up, and pretending I changed my mind, or lost my wallet is another matter.

I have shopped for them for some time and, no, they do not give feedback on your reports. After you complete an assignment, you will see it in your completed assignments list but you will not hear anything back from them unless they want more information. They know how to find you and will definitely e-mail if they want something, but no news is good news. And they pay super fast. I have done the shop you reference and it's not difficult, a little strange pulling out at the last minute, but not bad.
Great company and fast pay. I have completed quite a few shops for them, and like AustinMom said "no news is good news"
ditto on what Austin said. Great company, fairly easy shop. And yes, I did feel funny pulling out at the register.
Robin - I understand how you feel, and I don't like those either. Lots of shoppers don't have a problem with them, and you might try one to see how it works out. I've found it's possible to pull off any scenario successfully if you get your head straight before you go in, and you don't worry about how it may look to someone else. SOMEBODY is going to take that shop and the salesperson and cashier will have that experience, whether with you or another shopper. Ditch the guilt. It's a job you can take or leave; do whatever your heart tells you.

You can leave your credit card in the car and truthfully say "Oh, I don't have my card, and I'm in a rush. So Sorry." Every word of that statement would be true.

This may not be the most pleasant scenario out there for you, but every plate in life has turnips as well as ice cream. This is good money for a quick shop and a quick report. Also, my experience has been the company is great to work with and pays right on the dot. Definitely a favorite, among the very best.

Lol, thanks for the advice. I happen to like turnips! Living where I live, I can honestly say that I don't believe anyone else will take this job. There really doesn't seem to be any competition! Not nearly as many jobs as in a major city either though, which is why feedback plus adding about 10 shops peaked my interest.

I've been working exclusively with marketforce for the past year and just recently started signing up with other companies. The response has been incredible! I do one shop for a company and they are calling me to schedule out for the next 3 weeks. Hmmmm does feedback plus up the fee if no one takes it and it is nearing their deadline?

While I have your UNdivided attention, what is up with CORI wanting 6 names and almost as many interactions for 4.00?? The fee has been inching up for the past 2 weeks. I'm thinking of a number.... Lol, when it hits that, I'll buy in!

Well except you can't say that because you have to see if they offer you their store credit...but about those shops...I prefer the one interaction ones but will take the two interactions if I have to. My husband and I both do them because they are easy and come along every couple of months. They pay twice a month and you don't hear from them unless there is a problem.

We are flying into a nearby town this week and each took our limit at the mall and near the airport. He can go one way down the mall and I will go the other way and we will get those done.

Robin - Those $4.00 Cori shops will continue to go up until someone takes them. Believe it or not, sometimes a new shopper in my area will take them at $4.00. I'm always amazed. I've seen them go up to close to $30.00 in the boonie towns around me. The first few I did were confusing to me and took a long time to get all the information I needed. After I caught on, they're not that bad. Still, considering all the interactions and the narratives in the report, the price needs to get up there before I take a hard look. Cori goes up on everything, and toward the end of the month there will be some real plums in my area.

Traveliz - You're right (of course). You have to see if they offer store credit, but you don't have to accept it. You can then tell them you don't want to set up a new account, you left your card in the car, and you gotta go. Or at least that's the way I understand the guidelines. Am I wrong? I was, once.

Woo hoo! It's already over 30.00! We're cooking now! MF auto assigned hubby to a hop 20 miles away yesterday for 6.00! They said the computer auto assigned it! Uh huh! I checked his account. He is not signed up for auto. He tried to cancel but couldn't because ( according to them) they had already shipped stuff to him! He said, can you adjust the fee? They said no, and with their help he cancelled. Today we get an email that the fee is up to 30.00! You should have just offered that to him, MF. Now it won't get done. sad smiley

Oh sure that would work - I typically go with no I don't want another account and I just don't want to spend this much money now, thanks anyway. Good to hear another opt out.

I don't let it get so far that salesperson #1 thinks that they have a big sale. I take the jeans with me to browse for a top, which fussy me can't find and then head to a cash register to engage #2, easy enough to do in a department store. I decline the credit card offer because the quoted interest rate is much too high, thank you very much. I sometimes confirm my reality check by asking for the location of the restroom. Everyone is grateful to see me leave!
I love the credit card shops and have never had a problem with FP. They pay fastsmiling smiley

My preference is to take the 1 interaction shops, and avoid the cashier, simply because 2 interactions require more time on site and in report. With the cashier, I can back out of anything winking smiley My husband would kill me; I'm not sure my daughter will really like this; I'm having issues with credit . . .
I try to take the one interaction from now on. I did the jeans at two upscale store - talk about awkward!!! Oh yeah, I did one at Target - that was awkward also.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the search criteria with them? I am going out of town in a week and there is a shop I want to see if they have about 100 miles away.

Go to search for shops outside my area and then go to the state you are going to be in and click on that - all the towns with shops will come up and then you check the towns you are interested in and hit go.

Do that for your own area too - sometimes I find things in the next town doing that.

One more question.... I took a shop with them that pays a certain amount and reimburses up to a certain amount. The shops that I am looking at that are not in my area only talks about reimbursement. Does Feedback do reimbursement only shops or do you think it is a glitch?

I think they have fast food shops that are reimbursement only or they may pay a specific amount and your meal comes out of that money.

I have done reimbursement only shops for them - they have all been restaurant ones.

lol wondering if offering to pay on top of reimbursement was a glitch!! I am doing the exact same shop, just different city for payment +

Sometimes they add the payment when the shop is past due/close to past due.

Liz
ah!! That makes sense, thanks Liz!!

I love those FP credit shops but I try to only do the one interaction ones. It seems to me that when you are doing 2 interactions, the comp. should be higher since it takes more time and it's a longer report. I do wish they would allow us to pick out the big ticket items though. I mean $300 worth of jeans? Come on! And going to the electronics store and asking about buying a tablet? Only ones they have over $500 are ordered online. And the tablet brands they tell you to ask about, the store doesn't carry half the time.
The only ones I have seen here are for getting a set of tires, so that is super easy. You walk in off the street and ask for a quote on tires for a car you don't have with you. Both times I have done is the sales associate has mentioned credit as part of the quote.

I love, love those credit shops. Easy to do and so is the report. Plus they allow you take several at a time.
