Nationwide Services Group

This company has two Facebook pages. On those pages are 5 other shoppers who have not been paid. They have recently posted jobs so someone is still working over there, but no one replies to messages. If anyone has suggestions on where to report them please post here.

Try the MSPA or the attorney general. I can't promise you will get your money back, but its a start. Shoppers need to be warned about these non-paying companies. Too many people have gotten burned. Restuarant Evaluators, Freeman Group, Franchise Compliance. The wall of shame continues.
It is highly unlikely the MSPA will get involved based on past issues with non-paying companies. Post it on both their FB pages and encourage other shoppers to do the same. As crazy as it sounds, social media seems to be as effective as anything else.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
I have posted on both their pages, and sent a message to MSPA requesting contact information. They still list Laura as the contact over there. I send email to the info email address but never get a reply. I think I will try the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau next. If anyone else has not been paid please post on both Facebook pages. They are both under Nationwide Services Group. Maybe we can stop others from laying out cash and not getting reimbursed.
Well, folks, I am really in do-do. Just like many others, I have been paid consistently. Then Laura talked me and my son into doing a large number of shops in October and November --- they owe me over $2,000. Same thing. Website shows it processed Dec. 7----no check to date. I'm thinking small claims court.
Hi everybody, I've been in close contact with Dan Denston at MSPA and he has asked that everyone with payment outstanding from NSG contact him via e-mail. His address is: DDenston@hqtrs.com

He'd like to compile a list of all outstanding payments to rectify all at once, so if they owe you money please contact him ASAP!
I hope it works out. Nobody wants to see another Freeman or Franchise Compliance.

I shot off an e-mail after reading this post. Thank you, mirandroid. I got an immediate response from Dan Denston, ED of MSPA. I was reassured by his statement of the MSPA's concern for shoppers. I encourage all posters owed money from Nationwide to e-mail Dan.
It looks like mspa has posted on their facebook about the situation. I am glad they are taking this seriously. It was a travesty how the Freeman group was handled.
I can only find one NSG facebook page now. Seems the other has been deleted.

Amy, I am confused. You quoted a post of a poster who later reported to us he had
reached Nationwide and received a response. You did not add any additional information
to the post. Did you intend to comment? Or do you have a question?

You can send an e-mail suggesting that you might have to contact their client unless payment is made forthwith. That is my final demand and of course I would NEVER shop for the company again.
Update from Dan Denston with MSPA:

- - -

"I did speak with a representative from NSG a couple of weeks ago. They acknowledged issues that seemed to revolve around staffing. They had found that a number of checks sent to shoppers had either been lost, stolen, or trashed. I sent them all of the correspondence from shoppers I had received and they were going to begin to contact them. I do know from a couple of shoppers they have been contacted, but others have not yet. I have a list of those yet to be contacted and I planned to email them again at the end of this week."

I have not been contacted yet, but will keep you all updated. smiling smiley
I did 3 shops for Laura (or someone using her email...) at the end of October. As with the rest of you, I still haven't been paid. Prior to this I had completed 49 shops for NSG over the previous 4-1/2 years and was paid on-time every time!

I e-mailed Dan Denston per mirandroid's recommendation above.

Hoping to get some resolution!

I just stumbled onto this forum when I was searching for the NSG website! OMG, I was shocked to read all of the posts about this company....I also did a shop for them in August, with my page saying my payment went out 10/29. I also have never received such payment. I also have done everything in my power to contact them. I had just about given up when I found you guys. I did the same shop for them in November, and to this day, my page says that the job is pending. I should have been paid for it this month. And yes, they must have lost that "bar and dining" account because I just shopped it a couple of weeks ago for a completely different company. I will e-mail Dan Denston tomorrow with my information.

Thank you all!

I have communicated a few times with Dan over this. I don't think he can get us paid, but that he is asking Nationwide questions about payment and relaying shopper information which I view as positive intervention on MSPA's part. I received no response to my many e-mails to Nationwide; after forwarding my information to Dan, which he forwarded to Nationwide, I did receive a response from Nationwide - although I have not received payment. My response from Nationwide also contained no promise of payment, only an acknowledgement that they have many problems and are trying to research them. We'll see.

Sad. This has been a reliable company with prompt payment for a number of years.
I too, did shops in November for which I have not been paid. Inquiries to NSG have gone unanswered.

If you have not forwarded your inquiry to the MSPA at the above e-mail address, I suggest you do so ASAP.
Ironically, the only shop I've done for this MSC is an integrity shop.
Mine too! Any idea whom she is scheduling for now?

I am in the same boat too. I did a shop in October, shop log says check mailed December 7th, never received. I did get a response to an email that they are working on it but still nothing.

I am about to contact the BBB and or my states attorney general's office for assistance. It's not the amount (though I need my $50.00), it's the principle.

Thanks!
I contacted my attorney general's office about a problem with my internet provider not honoring their salesman's promises and they promptly sent a letter to the offending company, who had to call me and make it right and then respond back to them. Then my AG sent me a letter with their response and asked me to let them know if I wasn't satisfied now.

I was surprised that they actually acted on my complaint, which will encourage me to do more of that, so I would recommend filing a complaint if you haven't been paid in another 10 days. "Working on it"??? They need to stick a check in the printer and print your check. What work is involved? They know they owe it. If they don't have the money then they need to put it on their credit card, not make you wait for it.

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
I still have not heard from anyone about them sending payments. Done the emails and contacted MSPA.
I have not heard about anything either. I've emailed NSG, facebook messaged them, messaged them through Sassie and called them. Nothing. Last I heard from MSPA was almost a month ago.

NSG is still in business as they have about 40 shops available on their job board for a couple companies in GA, MD, NC, PA, and VA.
I have not heard anything either. Contacted them many times, and also went through MSPA.
I just found this website and this particular post this morning after a search to see if others had been slighted by Nationwide Services Group. This was my very first time doing secret shopping and to not be paid or at least contacted has made me rethink spending my money and my time doing any other shops. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and sent an email to Dan with MSPA. I am not optimistic that I will receive payment for the 5 shops I did for them and this has really left a bad taste in my mouth for secret shopping.
I emailed Dan as soon as Mirandroid kindly provided the info to all of us. Thank you Mirandroid! I can't tell you how much I appreciate altruistic fellow shoppers such as yourself!

However I got no response from Dan to date. And I made sure to save his address with my safe contact list so that should I get a response I won't miss it to spam/junk.
