Party City

Does anyone know what happen to the Party City jobs. I loved doing these. Have they moved to a different MS Company? Thanks

They still get shopped. I don't know who had them before so I don't know if it's the same MSC or not.
I thought they were with the same company, but a different scheduling group was handling them.

I haven't seen them in a couple of months with the company who has been shopping them (yet using different scheduling companies) for the past few years. I was wondering the same thing as I need some colored paper plates here soon,

I haven't done one of these since May, but if you go to the company that was handling them at that time, and expand your search to the whole country, Party City jobs are still there. There haven't been any in my area, maybe they are doing them less frequently.
The new scheduling company is apparently doing a lot of auto-assigning.
I haven't seen one or done one since May, either, but apparently they're still getting shopped. Yes, there is a new scheduler and I was wondering about them myself.

I haven't seen it for my local one, but have recently gotten an e-mail for the one 70 miles away and that is for the same company.
Well what I know is that schedulers or Mary told me is that they were making adjustments re the shop report and would be up and running at the end of the summer. Hope so.
Here in my area the Party City shops are done by the MSC that does the ham shops.

And once again I applied for the ham shop and didn't get it. I think I am going to stop applying for jobs with this MSC.
Thanks for all of you who answered. My last one for Party City was in May also and I really miss doing them. I hope they start up again in my area soon.
They are still coming in here (Maryland)

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B,A, start.
Why do you like Party City shops so much? They only pay $7 here.
I was also wondering why people were so fond of these shops. I always found them to be a bit of a pain.

I don't like flipping through the invitation book. In the store that I shopped, it was really dark in that area & was sort of creepy.

I only did them when they were bonused (which was directly from the old scheduler).

In my stores there is no invitation book so that is a non issue. Ours are bright and filled with merchandise. You are right I am not thrilled about the pay but I usually need the merchandise and find the rest of the shop easy enough.

In terms of the invitation book, if you don't want to do that then stand at the balloon counter and ask the invitation questions. These shops can be done in a short amount of time. Get your 7 bucks, your free merch and head out. Like it.
The five bucks can get you ten greeting cards.
That's what I'm sayin' Don't diss the Party shops!! And don't forget the dark chocolate Hershey's kisses. $1 for 15. That alone is worth the trip.
