Where have they gone?

I used to do secret shops for Target but I don't know who has the contract now or if they have dropped their secret shopping program. The same thing with Kroger.

Could you PM me if you have this information please?

I don't know anything about Target.

I don't believe that Kroger is shopped anymore. The company that used to do it indicated that Kroger discontinued the program for the time being. It ended earlier this year.

The Target shops ended about three years ago with the company I shopped them for. I don't know if anyone else picked them up.

I was working for each of those companies at the time the shops stopped but never heard anything about Target. I did hear the Kroger had stopped the program but thought that might have been polite language for the contract being ended.

As to violating IC agreements, I am aware that it is taboo to discuss on an open forum and that most ask us not to share with friends and family outside the secret shopping community. But it would certainly be acceptable for a scheduler for companies who have those shops to contact one of us...

kedmunds - Yes, it would be good for a scheduler to contact you, and I hope that happens. In my area, I do not see any shops posted for Target or Kroger, but then I'm not signed up with every company.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.

Depends. Some MSCs do not allow their employees to use this forum. Trendsource is one...

What is the logic of not allowing? I love the idea of a thread where schedulers could look for shoppers wanting to do certain locations or stores.

I wonder if schedulers whose companies bar them from posting can read and then PM form members who express interest?

I suspect that if Jacob opened a thread like the job board, where on line replies are not permitted, but PMs are, we would have quite a few schedulers interested in using it to find ready and able shoppers. Of course, it might also draw even the rawest newbies wanting easier ways of finding shops. It's a balancing act. But, I would favor letting the schedulers being able to quickly weed out the "unwashed" among the applicants.
