Possibly some insight for the newbies

Hello everyone! I have been checking with you guys periodically to see what my fellow shoppers,auditors,merchandisers were talking about. I have been doing all that I listed for 7 years. OK, for the newbies, the best advice that I can give you is sign up with as many companies as possible. In this way you give yourself more opportunity to do work in the same area. This will save you a lot of miles and your biggest expense is gas. A quick heads up for everyone, Advantage Sales And Marketing is hiring "Sales / Merchandisers. They pay 12.00 an hour, guarantee 40 hours per week, they pay mileage and drive time equal to the hourly rate. My girlfriend is now working for them and she really likes it. They use ADP so the money is direct deposited on the card they send you.

Good advice and general information. Can I clarify one thing. Advantage pays by direct deposit to a bank account or onto some type of prepaid debit card?

ADP is one of the largest payroll processors for companies in the U.S. they have their own debit card now. That is what they are referring too. If things haven't changed you can talk to AdD directly and have it sent to your account.

I'm familiar with ADP and used them when I was a business manager. The debit card is a new one for me. Thanks techman.

Thanks Lisa, for backing me up on the Advantage form of payment. You are correct, the other option is direct deposit to your bank account. I am doing auditing for BestMark at BestBuy Stores. I noticed after reviewing my payment for the audits that I had done that, the total paid for each component did not add up to the base amount. I called BestMark and brought this to the attention of the auditing department. The person that I spoke with checked it out and agreed that there was an issue. She sent me an email telling me that I.T. has gone through the coding. They are fixing the discrepancy and she added the amount owed to me on my next check. So, anybody out there doing auditing for BestMark check your component pay to the base pay. If there is a discrepancy, then you may be entitled to back pay.

How is that auditing going? I did one on the first round and it took more time than it was worth, at least for me. Then I saw they revised the payments for each audit and I thought it was worse. I'd be encouraged to hear it's getting better.

No fee, no shop.
