Mystery Researchers and RSG

There are jobs listed on jobslinger for ATV shops. They show they are through Research Services Group, however, when you click on the link to the shops it takes you to the website for Mystery Researchers.

First of all, are Research Services Group and Mystery Researchers related companies?

Secondly, has anyone done jobs for Mystery Researchers? Are they a good company?

Apparently RSG has changed their name. The shopper login for Mystery Researchers links to the RSG sassie page. I backed out and logged in directly to the Sassie site where I found ATV shops.

Thank you for clearing that up. I am very suspicious when I see conflicting information.
I don't have any inside information. What I posted came from looking up Mystery Researchers on Google and following the trail.

Hi everyone,

You guys beat me to the punch! I'm extremely impressed (but not surprised!) that it took you less than a week to find our new website.

The information above is correct, we are both Research Services Group AND Mystery Researchers. We originally opened as RSG 4 years ago and recently rebranded to Mystery Researchers. (I just like the name better!)

The new website was JUST launched last Friday and we have not yet even sent out the press releases yet, much less communicated to all of our clients and shoppers. As a matter of fact, I haven't even changed the signature line on my emails smiling smiley

But since you are already a few steps ahead of me - I'm happy to tell you all about it. Our new website is www.mysteryresearchers.com - and www.researchservicesgroup.com will also forward to that website as well as a few variations on the name.

We are planning a whole "launch" campaign with announcements, a press release, updated Facebook page along with a variety of other communications. So stay tuned for more - but in the meantime, I wanted to assure you that we are indeed the same company.

RSG = Mystery Researchers - so you can expect the same communication, responsiveness, payment turnarounds (!!!), and opportunities as always.

thanks so much,
Lisa

Gosh darn it! I missed Eric's original post.

He left the mouth kissing but deleted something. That something must have been muy caliente! ;-)

I register with them on 08/23/12, I have yet to get any offers to shop, when I entered the job board this is the message
"No Shops found for your selection. Please try again."

That just means there are no shops in your area at this time.

They often do not have shops in my area, buth when they do, I'm on them like white on rice!

Great people, very helpful and appreciative of reliable shoppers.

I did one of the shops for them recently, but haven't heard back from them yet. I am still pretty new to this, so I was going to post on here to ask how long it usually takes to receive a response when you turn in a shop for RSG when I saw this thread.
I have done shops for some other companies and have gotten some kind of response when I turned in the report, but there are no comments/grade/feedback for this one, no way for me to tell if they're planning on paying me for the shop.
It's been about a week. Comments? Suggestions?
I have never received a rating or contact if a shop was accepted. On your job board page, if you look all the way to the left of the actual job there is a status. When it is changed to "received", I think that means they have reviewed the shop. They pay very quickly and I have not had any problems. I wish they had more shops for me to do.
ex,
If you have not heard from them in this amount of time, there were no problems. These folks will play very straight with you.

Dear Lisa, I just found your company, at least I think I did. Your records may show otherwise. Anyway, I know you had server (?) problems the last week. I did 3 shops for you on 10/24 and 10/25 which I enjoyed. This sounds like the time you started having problems. I know a shop in the Tulsa area showed up Sunday, and I want it real bad, but... Also, do you grade the reports? The 2 shops I did on the 24th had the pay total added to to it, but no grades. It looks like the 25th on is still waiting for review. (This is my shopper ID #: 18734)

I would have apped for the shop on 10/28 to do today the 29th. But it does look like it belonged to someone else, and got slashed due to the problems. Also, will your company give $5.00 for gas money? The shop I did there on the 24th, I had another shop 2 miles away, so I was already in the area. Today, I have a shop about 28 miles north of this one, and a 18 mile trip home. That is why I asked about the gas. It would have cost me just over 2 gallons to do it. Yet, I do love the store!

Tulsa Shoppers, you take Woodland Hills Mall and Promenade Mall. O'hh yes, you can also have the Adult "fun" stores. I will take the rest of Tulsa & Broken Arrow. Thank you! -- I.L.Banks
I did a couple of assignments for RSG. Pays quickly, and liked there shops! They do not have much in my area however, I do check their job board on a regular basis.

The two named MSC are the same and they have just merged with Insular research company.
You might find that the editors there are very difficult and not much fun to work with. Caveat Emptor!!
I spoke my mind on this company, but I'm not going to rehash anything. I wish Mystery Researchers the best and hope no other shoppers are treated the way that I was treated, as outlined in my post.
