question about intelli shop PAYMENT PENDING

I did my first two shops for them on 9/6 and 9/7 and are listed as PAYMENT PENDING and have been that way for a while, thought I was going to get paid on 10/20, any ideas what is going on?

That would indicate that your report has been received, and payment has been authorized. Intelli pays via PayPal, about 60-75 days after the shop. Payments for some of my shops - 12-11 paid 2-22; 7-21 paid 9-21; 6-8 paid 8-22.

Not the fastest paying MSP ;{

I agree, but sometime when they do pay, it seems to come back to back so if you can, keep working and it all works out in the end. At least that has been my experience :-)

A bit slow in edit and payment, but the slow payments arrive consistently via PayPal.
Some of their shops are pay 30 and some are pay 60. Payment pending means you're all good to go and you will get paid. Just might take two months.

I also did my first shop with them on 9/6 and am in payment pending status. I didn't realize they took so long. It's hard to keep straight which ones pay when.
Slow paying, low paying, late requests for clarification, multiple requests for clarification, inconsistent with details needed from shop to shop, no or late reply to emails, and the list goes on...

I have decided that this MSP is no longer worth my time.
Does that mean a shop I did 9/30 I will not get paid until 11/30? Wow if I had only known I would have not put out so much money for this shop. How big of an operation is this, that they cannot pay for 60-90 days?
From what I noticed shops completed in one month has been paid the next month around the 20 depending in banking times. So your example 09/30 would be paid on 10/30. Now if you do a shop on 10/01 that will pay 11/20 hope this help. That how they have paid me for the last 6 months or so. If it is different you may want to give them a call and see whats going on. My September shops from this company paid on 10/22/2012

Intellishop has never paid me faster than 65 days or later than 90 days. Slow but reliable.
My experience with them is that their reports are demanding but if you establish a consistently high score they don't bug you. Payment is a little slow but reliable and I prefer payment to PayPal over handling a check.

No fee, no shop.

In total agreement....
Just goes to show that what doesn't work for some works for others. I'm a newer MSer but last month Intellishop was one of my top three companies. I never recieved a request for clarification, and got mostly good scores. (I will say that I got one '8' that I felt was very nitpicky; the editor detailed each minor grammatical error in an otherwise "very strong report."winking smiley Several of the shops I did were highly bonused. I did a shop on 9/28 that was paid on 10/22, and about 2/3 of my Oct shops are listed 'payment pending' to pay on 11/22. I do agree that 60 days can be a long time, but it's noted in the initial email if the shop is one that will pay in 30 days. (It's also kind of nice to get $xxx once a month instead of a $15 check every half-dozen days, IMO.)
My wife handles my books. As soon as I apply to a company I read the independent contractor agreement. I can usually find the payment terms there. If not, sometime I find it on the website. When I do, we list it with the company name, as well as whether the company pays by check, paypal, or direct deposit. It is the only way I find to keep it all straight. Especially when there are 100+ companies to keep track of.

When I start getting frequent payments, it becomes easy to determine when the pay-out dates are going to be. As it was stated in an earlier post. To more shops you do (paraphasing), the less likely you are to fret about the time it takes to get paid, since your payments will be trickling in from various sources and at various times.

I don't usually worry about the payment schedule. I keep up here with who the slow payers are, and on my spreadsheet I have color coding. If a shop is over 90 days in getting paid, it's highlighted in red, so it would have to have a pretty good bonus to get me to do it again.

Does anyone have a reliable contact there re payment? Have been waiting for expense reimbursement since 3/31. They paid the shop fee, but not the mandatory expense reimbursement which budget was $57.00 of which I spent $20.30. Had I taken my family and spent $57, I would be extremely upset.

No one responds to emails. I did get a response in June that it would be handled by the end of the week but nothing happened. No response -- request for hard copy of receipts -- no excuse -- nothing!

I have been shopping for them for ten years. This has just never happened before. Slow pay, yes. No pay -- has never happened. Any advice?
