I did some quick checking. There was a thread on Volition [forum.volition.com] of a member asking about them but nobody indicated they had heard of them or worked for them (question was from 7/2008).

Checked with Whois for ownership of the site and found:

You will note that their website indicates "With over 25 years experience . . ." but does not note the longevity of the COMPANY. Ten people with 2-3 years of experience each could readily enough produce 'over 25 years experience'.

You will note that the street address of Classic Demos is a few doors down from the contact address on the website. A Google of Classic Demos reveals a company that does in-store demos and merchandising, so my assumption is that Six Stars Solutions is a mystery shopping arm of that company.

My best guess is that the company is legitimate and shops primarily the West.
I applied with them and they asked for a 1099 and other forms. I sent them in and never heard from them. I guess they don't have any shops in my area.
I am not concerned about that. TUCOWS has been around forever. They have a good rep for what they do and they keep their noses clean by not handling warz. If they are also working as a domain registrar now I would expect that is just another line of business for them. And they do advertise on their home page that they register domains.
Thanks for the info everyone. Flash I did get as far as seeing they were "Classic Demos" but after that I got lost on the information highway, thanks for digging for me.
Still would like to hear from anyone that has worked for them.
