has anyone ever not received a "5" from CORI?

I know we have kidded around before that even if you are dead, CORI will give you a "5", so I am wondering if anyone (dead or alive) has ever received anything less.

I did abouth three shops for them. They refused to pay me on one, so I told them what I thought of them. I told them to send me back the shop and I would correct it, they claimed, there is no time for that , but you can do the shop again. Huh? No thanks.
I think it's "5" or nothing. I've had 2 shops not accepted out of 750 over the past few years. Both were due to errors in the purchase requirement on my part. One changed the purchase allowable items and banned a thing I had been buying for years, but I didn't notice it was removed. Another time, the gas station had so many issues, I was so busy taking photos covertly, that I completely forgot to make a purchase at the little 'ole kiosk thing.

My first shop I got a 5, but on my page my "shopper rating" was shown as 4 out of 5. I did another shop and got another 5 on the report and my shopper rating went to 4.5 out of 5.

I don't understand any of it, LOL.

Oh for those of you who have less than a total 5 rating, what I was referring to was each shop rating as a 5. It takes (we have discussed this before), I think about 30 plus shops before your total rating is a 5.
Ah, I must have missed that post. I was wondering why I was only a 4 or 4.5 since both reports were 5's.

Oh, yes, itsasecret, I don't think they tell you. But after you've done a few, you'll notice your rating go up. It goes up really fast between 5 and 10 assignments and then slows down. I think it takes about 35 or 40 assignments to get to a 5.0 after getting all 5s on reports. I can't remember exactly but I have a family member shopping and he has done 30 for CORI, making all 5s, and he is still at 4.9. I've never heard of anybody getting less than a 5 - unless they were disallowed and aren't getting paid....
I have only completed 10 shops for them so far. I have only gotten 5's on my reports. Now I am curious, do you get better bonuses or something for reaching a 5 after 30 or so shops?

Then you get new shocks for your car because they are all worn out from hitting all those pot holes you ran over while you were mystery shopping in a lame attempt to get free scrumdillyisiouos sundaes. I got nothing!
nope, no bonuses, and no special favors. Just the great pleasure of looking at that "5", but beware, cancel a shop or not do one, and you drop quickly back into the 3 or 4 range. At one point, we did figure out the magic number that it takes to have it stay at "5". Let me see if I can find that post.
Don't even get me going about CORI. I had a job scheduled to do there last friday in NEWTOWN, CT. As there was no way I could get into that town with what was going on, I emailed and went to chat and left messages and a voice mail for the one number I had to reschedule it. No one got back to me and I got cancelled and dinged, no apologies for no response, etc. Screw them.
I've never know CORI to be unfair and/or unreasonable about cancelled shops. However, I have known them to be hard to get a hold of near holidays. Why don't you call them and get it corrected?

I emailed four times - no response; no response to voice mail. They also have some approved shops from a month ago I have yet to receive payment for and have not gotten back to me about those either. I've been paid for shops since. Now they are on my "whatever" list as far as doing work for.
That is why I suggested the phone call. With e-mail you usually don't receive any type of out of office reply, even thought someone might be gone. Their receptionist is good about getting me through to a live person. It sounds like you have plenty of reasons if there are also unpaid shops involved.

I've always found their receptionist to be friendly and helpful ~ even sweet! She's helped me re-schedule the couple of times I've had to do that with them... once it was even my fault that I missed the shop. I had forgotten that the store probably closed early on Sundays. And it was a weekend only shop. She rescheduled me to the next weekend, no problem, no ding.

It seems really weird they'd not put right that shop in CT given the circumstances. I would keep pursuing it.

I'd be working up the chain of command on that one. Given the sensitive nature of that location, I would doubt that the client would even care if that location wasn't shopped for a few months. Not only is that doing you wrong as a shopper, that's some very bad pr waiting to happen. I bet an operations manager or anyone up to the CEO would be interested to hear that.

I wonder if you've taken the advice and called them? Or on this matter is your mind like a steel trap--rusted shut and illegal in 37 states? Given the extreme circumstances, you really should call.
