Glad you like them for now. Not wanting to burst your bubble but your feelings might change over time and their report issues.
They are on of my favorite companies also - been MSing for 12 years. BUT I think it's rediculous to deduct $2.00 if your report is in 1 minute after 10:00am! I realize all shoppers & companies must adhere to guidelines and time restraints but there is absolutely no flexibility with them as far as report deadlines.
I don't like that deadline, either, especially since it is 8am here. However, they do state the terms clearly and follow them, so we know ahead of time. I am sure the deduction is computer generated, so it kicks off at whatever time was programmed in. The thing is, if they implement a late penalty, it has to be standard and there does have to be a deadline.
It is the lack of flexibility that is the issue. Once I was late when my internet went out during an ice storm. There aren't really many options in that case.

Yes, in cases like that, I see what you mean. I was thinking of the, "oh. I overslept and got the report in 10 minutes late." scenario. With or without flexibility, I'm not a big fan. I don't have any cars that work for their auto service shops and the others seem to all pay low around here. Although I have never done a car dealership shop, I can't imagine they are so easy as to warrant the low fee paid by BM.
Well, the car dealership visits are lowering paying than other MSC but you don't have to take a test drive, which can cut off quite a bit of time to do the actual shop & report. For example, I believe it's Intellishop where there are a lot of questions about the test drive such as your route and what was discussed if the salesperson accompanied you.

Trust me, they are not. That was the last assignment I did for BM, and it got dinged because one of the editors asked me a question.

Same here. I was dinged $3 on an already low pay car dealership shop. That was my last shop for them...ever!
