All the jobs and reports I've had from Imyst have been fair to high compensation for the work. They are one of the companies that will ding you a buck for different infractions, but I don't recall them being hardass about it like Bestmark. Normally someone can be reached during regular business hours and they have worked with me on extending due dates and even on report times when I took some video shops on a road trip.

I have only done a few shops for them, but I had no problems. They pay as stated and I thought the pay was very fair.
They are nothing special here but always paid with no hassle.

Imyst pays very, very quickly via Paypal. Once you accept the job, there are a ton of details with the shop.
It seems you accept the shop and see all the details and there is a way to then decline before completing the assignment process.

I went, I saw, I ran away quickly. They are honest about what they expect though, so I have to give them credit for that. You know what kind of a special day you are looking to have if you get involved with the job..
What kind of job did you see? I've done a variety for them and all were quite reasonable for the pay.

I just completed an audit for them and thought it was very fair for the pay. It was less time/work onsite (although more data entry at home) than an audit I completed for MF, and it paid significantly more. I'm interested to see if it is accepted and whether I am dinged for infractions. I had a problem with one of the items in the audit and offered to go back to re-evalute and was told, essentially, not to worry about it, so they certainly seem to be fair.
They used to offer surveys, maybe once a year, where they would send me an email on a topic such as any upcoming home improvement projects I was going to do, or if I would be looking at installing new windows in my house. (I assume the window surveys were paid for by the major manufacturers based on the questions asked.)

The surveys were relatively short, like most that are sent out by other MS companies, but Imyst would send a $5.00 fee as compensation for completing the survey. I haven't received one of those emails in a while, but it was a nice bonus when I got one!
