Shopmetrics vs Sassie vs Prophet

Which system do you prefer? I'm used to Sassie, but Shopmetrics is growing on me. Sorry for those who use it, but Prophet just isn't for me. I find it hard to use and the info I need just isn't easily accessible...

I would take a 20% pay cut for an industry standard. I don't even care which one wins.

20% pay cut? No way.

I have no problems with prophet...you can search nationwide on it...

I know that JobSlinger has a bunch of companies that use the Sassie system. Is there anything like that for ShopMetrics?
Sassie by far. I just suggested to a scheduler that she suggest this to a client rather than shopmetrics. Shopmetrics is not smooth andis glitchy. You have to continually go back to spellcheck. It is never clear as to which comment boxes are required or how many charachters are required. I will stand behind sassie. Maybe some of these are more expensive than others.
I like Sassie and shopmetrics isn't too bad but prophet and I have been having a knock down fight lately. Sassie is the easiest by far though.
I like Prophet because I can self assign and generally change the date once or twice.
seth, the ShopMetrics version is MSJobBoard.com.

I do not understand why they all do not use sassie. So much easier and less time consuming. My reports go thru so much easier.
I sorted all my 60+ bookmarks into "folders" by platform. 21 are on Sassie, a handful on shopmetrics and prophet and clientsmart but I had to make a folder called "weird platforms" and was surprised at how many just do their own thing, probably almost half of the MSC's on my list fell into that category.

I think it will be faster to review all my boards this way because the log in formats are sorted now.

Eventually I'll do another sort within each group called "has jobs" and "doesn't have jobs" since some of them NEVER have anything in my area so I want to start checking those only at the first of the month to see if they picked up a new client otherwise not to waste time checking them for every route I tried to bill.

And I may make a select group of "has jobs in my town" since only about a half dozen do.

But I'm in the group who is more comfortable with Sassie, except I wish ALL of them would list the fee without having to click through to see it. It just wastes so much time that way.

Hi, everyone. I'm new here... but I've been mystery shopping for well over a year.

I have to say, I absolutely HATE Sassie with a passion. I hate the millions of emails from the companies who use it and that I cannot be logged in to more than one company at a time when I'm quickly scanning for new shops. I also don't like that the email address I need to use is the one linked to my paypal account, not my primary email account I use daily.

I don't have an issue with Prophet, though.

I prefer the proprietary systems like GAPbuster and In-Touch. GAPbuster is great because you can reschedule shops easily and their job search is very simple. In-Touch has a very slow job search process (takes forever to load), but it's great to search by names of streets and towns or by client. In-Touch also doesn't show you the agreed upon shopper fee after you've accepted an assignment and sometimes the promo items required for purchase is hard to find.

Not sure why you say you can't be logged in to more than one company at a time. I have them all bookmarked in a folder, choose, "Open all in a new window" and they all open. I log into them one by one, go back through and enter the Job boards one by one, then go through and set my parameters one by one. If no jobs I'm interested in come up I close that tab, but I can have all 20 of my Sassie companies open and logged into simultaneously. I use chrome but I think I've had multiple shops open in tabs on IE or Firefox on my other computer with no problem.

You can turn off the emails for any companies for whom you don't want to see them.

You can add up to 8 email accounts to Paypal so you can use whatever email address you want for mystery shopping. I set up a "shopper@mydomainname.com" address just for mystery shopping and I just added it to my Paypal account.

Sassie allows me to login to more than one, but only allows me to access pages from the company I have most recently logged in to. For example, I login for Company A and look around, open a new tab and login to Company B and look around, but when I click back to Company A's tab and select a new page, the error message I get is "You are not logged into this Mystery Shop Provider's system."

I don't have an issue with receiving emails from companies, so much as I have an issue with the frequency and content. For example, there are certain clients for which I will not shop -- if I could choose which clients I wish to receive updates about, that would be great. It would also ensure I don't miss the shops I do want because there would be less garbage to sort through.

The issue with Paypal is that I am unable to claim a dormant account and change the password (security questions don't match, for some reason), so I was urged to open a new account by the representative I spoke to. The thing is, I just don't get why the Sassie shops don't allow for a separate Paypal account. Other systems don't have a problem with it.

Ironically enough, before coming across this thread, I was telling my shopstitute that I wish there was an industry standard. It would be far easier for all concerned. Everyone would only have to learn and get comfortable with one system. There would be fewer glitches to deal with.

My own preference would be for all MSCs to migrate to Sassie. Prophet is twitchy. Shopmetrics is overdone and lags.

Sassie used to be my favorite, without question. It is still my favorite. However, if it keeps adding features that I consider to be a PITA, such as forcing me to choose one single day within a shop window to apply (while not offering me the ability to reschedule the shop on my own), Prophet will become my favorite.
I love the reschedule option in Prophet- it allows me to create a route with different companies, but Sassie seems to be the most popular.
I organize my companies into folders too- and there is sooo many in Sassie. I use Work in FL and Outside FL to sub divide, cause there are so many companies that only have 1 shop in my state every other month or so and are not worth checking on a daily basis.

LOL at Weird Platforms!!! They have some good good shops though winking smiley
