Best Food Shopping Companies?

I have made Thursday nights "mystery shopping dinner nights" .
I have a calendar of which places we are going to each Thursday-
if the reimbursement only covers one meal then we go to two places.
Food is a big expense in our house, so this has been fun and money saving.

Anyway, I am probably signed up with most of them, but what places does
everyone recommend for fast food and casual dining shops?

So far, two jobs/meals with Satisfaction Services have been my favorite -
casual dining, easy survey and paragraph write up, flat payment, I didn't even have submit a receipt and we were allowed to order anything we wanted.

I've never heard of Satisfaction Services. I googled them and found this site [www.satisfactionservicesinc.com].
Is this the company you're referring to? Did you sign up as a "Rated Member" or are you being offered jobs using a free account?

We offer two mystery shopper /evaluator programs for you to choose from: Sign up for "FREE" or pay $9.99 / year to Join our Rated Evaluator and receive Rated Members Benefits.

SSI Non-Rated Evaluator Member - Free

We offer assignments to non-rated evaluators if there are no available SSI rated evaluators in the area. You will have fewer opportunities than the rated evaluators in your area for mystery shops. Plus, you'll miss out on our rated member's-only benefits, savings and discounts.

SSI Rated Evaluator Member - Only $9.99 Plus Bonus: Rated Mystery Shoppers - One Year Rated Member's Only Benefits

We select from our pool of rated evaluators first for shopping assignments and offer those assignments to the evaluators with the highest SSI quality rating. This is the best way to go, as it offers you the chance to make the most money as a mystery shopper.

SSI rated evaluator members, we find are usually the most dedicated and qualified and will be selected more frequently for available mystery shop assignments in their area based on the client needs. Plus, you will receive some very impressive benefits, savings and discounts reserved only for our rated members. Read our Terms & Conditions

Becoming an SSI rated evaluator is easy.
We simply ask you pay a small fee of $9.99 to cover the administrative costs related to setup, review of your evaluations, assigning a rating and moving you into the pool of SSI rated evaluators.

We will always choose rated valuators first for available assignments. You can, however, choose not to pay the nominal fee. If you choose the free evaluator program, you will still have the possibility to receive assignments in your area, but not on a first choice basis.

Rated evaluators will always be chosen first, as their quality rating will ensure our clients receive the best evaluators available.

MSPA Certified - Shopping Beverly Hills, West LA, OC and "The Valley"
Yes, thats the one, I just have a free account.

I see no advantage to signing up for their rated version -(isn't that what MSPA is for?)
and I'm in a dense area with a lot of shoppers.

But I have enjoyed their jobs so far.

Also, the scheduler e-mailed me and asked if I would consider a shop at an entertainment venue, I couldn't afford any more out of pocket costs this paycheck but I'm hoping it's still available on my next payday.

Thanks. I'll register for a free account.

As for casual or fast food shopping, try Market Force, Intelishop (although they are really slow to pay), Service Sleuth (also really slow), Trend Source (I was reimbursed for a pizza shop in 2 days! They pay twice a month via direct deposit) and Second to None. I primarily shop high end restaurants, but shop a pizza chain with Trend Source at least once a month.

Okay, I am registered for all those except Service Sleuth, so I'll check them out.
So on the SS restaurant report you just enter the total amount of what you ordered? And you can really order "anything" you want? No food and drink requirements/limits or reimbursement limit at all?
They pay in a flat rate so its up to you how much to decide how mich of that is the reimbursement and how much is your commission.
Hi, LADINE, welcome. You get started by reading and planning your actions. When you start mystery shopping, you will be an independent contractor working for multiple companies. You will be running your own small business. I suggest you set aside a LOT of time to read and research first. Starting to mystery shop is very time-consuming at first.

1. Go to the New Mystery Shopper area and READ everything.

2. Go to the blue link at the bottom of the page, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. That offers a list of almost 200 companies you can register with. When you register on the website of each company, you will provide your personal information and your SS#. Some have tests for you to take. You will sign an independent contractor agreement (ICA), which usually includes a nondisclosure clause. Then you will be able to search their job boards to see if they have jobs in your area that you can apply for.
A Closer Look is another company that comes to mind for restaurants (typically reimbursement only). They have both high-end and casual eateries in my area.

You might also try Reality Check.
