Bestmark

Does anyone know where to find the rotation times for Bestmark? I was able to pick up a ton of phone and web jobs all of a sudden there is nothing listed. I had to call them for a question on a job so while I had them on the phone I asked. She said nothing was wrong, I wasn't pulled from seeing them just that you can have only so many. She said I should fine it under the guidelines so I let it go at that. I went and looked, and there is nothing in their guidelines section about rotation times.

Thanks

Well, I don't know where to look, but I DO know that I snagged really alot of them, phone and internet and some companies, like car dealerships for example, only allow a shopper to do 6 of their shops per month. I had lots of one company's shops, tried to get more, but they were from that same company, so I wasn't allowed.

Does this help? tongue sticking out smiley

I guess if all the dealers are one auto company perhaps that counts as one "company". I figured each deal was its own. I did a ton in both March and April (more than 6) of call (sales and service both) and web, so must have hit some kind of a limit. Bummer, they may only be 5 bucks but I find them an easy company to work with (30 completed in March and April so far and not a single comment back) and they pay regularly. Take enough of them and they add up quickly. I haven't found any other companies (in the 90+ I am registered with) that offer the phone and web selection that Bestmark does.
Yeah..Bestmark has alot of those shops. I guess you and me went nuts with the shops, eh. I did alot like you. I have 6 left to do and that's it. My speciality is car dealerships. Visited them and did them online and on the phone. My last batch is one car company and that'll limit me when that dealership posts more. Oh well..and like you said, it sure does add up fast! smiling smiley
I took several of those phone calls to the dealerships. never again! I felt so guilty that people were sitting there waiting for me to show up. I couldn't bring myself to do anymore. I think they must have a pretty hefty rotation on them though because I haven't seen any of the dealerships that I shopped pop up again and it's been months since I did the ones that I did.
You are supposed to call up the next day and cancel the service appointment. Although I admit I have forgotten to do so here and there! And, I don't commit to an appointment if I am shopping for a car. I give a vague answer that I need to check and see when my hubby is available. I use google voice and unfortunately, cannot block them from seeing my number. I recently learned that I can block the caller so they will hear the number is out of service. It has stopped some of those aggressive sales people. Now, I don't know if they keep names and numbers in a database. Depending on how many I do and if I have to contact that same dealer again, I change my alias weekly and my google email and number twice a year.

I remember that I read you could assign yourself up to 10 shops per day, and a max of 2 auto shops per day. Maybe this info is no longer on the website, but it seemed to hold true when I self assigned the last round of shops. As far as the rotation, maybe they are just done with it for now. I don't expect them to have these shops every month.
Can't do these anymore either. Feel way too sorry for the folks working on commission, and it takes weeks for the phone calls back to fade away.
I did a recorded phone call for a service appointment, I figured I could do a couple of these but then when I saw the form, it asked questions that would be answered on the recording. I don't know but I did some funeral phone shops for the same pay but way less narrative not too long ago, I think I may try the others but don't really like having to give out my phone number (which I could decline to give with the recorded service appointment)
It is usually somewhere hidden in the shopper info... Some companies do not put it out here for "us" to read but it shows in the schedulers pages!! It does that at CRI too!!
I recently called because I assigned myself to a company I had just done the month before. I can't remember exactly but I want to say he said you can only do 4 per day. There was a limit on the month but I am a little hazy. Basically, if you are ineligible for it, it won't show up. I do them as they came up and this month has been slower. I think because the ones we were flooded with lately were all 'imported from' the same company headquarters, so we may all be maxed out.

Jshilz- It says in the requirements that you are supposed to call back the next day and cancel the appointment. I always put a place in my notes for the cancel date so that I don't forget. I also never agree to come in on sales shop and also use the hubby line. smiling smiley There have been tons of these shops up until last week.
For the first time since I began shopping Bestmark has NO shops at all in my area. I even changed my zip code to another area and still nothing. Anybody know what is going on?

What area are you in? I live in Texas and still see quite a bit. If you'll give me your zip, I will search and see what comes up.

Edited for grammer.

I just checked and found quite a few phone call/web shops! Not as much as those that were imported but I am a happy shopper. smiling smiley
Hmm, must be a limit thing. I am sure I hit my limit on the Imported from Detroit group, but I have put in random zip codes from big cities in texas, florida, georgia, etc and put a 100 mile radius and cant get phone calls to show up.
I got several restaurant shops in Dallas area - once I entered the Dallas zip code. I see oil/tire roation shops but I don't have the correct vehicle.
I used to do quite a lot of the dealer website shops for $3. I haven't seen any lately. I'm in the Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky border.
I see no web/phone jobs right now and I'm all over the place here. In MY area, zero! I was expecting more shops to show up, since it's the middle of the month now. Of my 18 phone jobs, I have 3 left and that's it.

I like Bestmark though. They are ok with me and have never rejected anything I did. Guess because I read the guidelines? winking smiley
I just checked and there are a bunch of web and phone shops up for grabs! Get 'em while they're hot smiling smiley

Kthanks

Thanks for the heads up. I went and checked and was able to get a few for the week of the first. They must be limiting numbers, couldn't grab as many as before, but did get 5 more.

Same here. I guess they probably do need a diverse group to do the shops. Just glad I could grab some. smiling smiley
