Does anyone know why there is a range listed for their fees?

The particular shops with a range for the fees seem to have that range based on the depth and breadth of information that needs to be collected for any particular location.
I suspect MSI TrendSource works with a template for its scheduling emails, so that while it's the same category of inspection, the client ordering the inspection requires extra or slightly different things, and it's easier to use a template with a fee range than to further customize each communication for each location.
I've mostly received the low end of the range, but just last week had one at the top end. The little bit of additional work was as proportionately large as the little bit of additional pay.

Is it for a specific type of shop ? There is one shop where you get paid $4 per 25 prices you collect. When you sign up, you can choose to collect 25, 50, 75, etc.

It's only $4 now per 25?? It used to be $5.
