Hi guys!! Finally coming out of my tax season haze, and getting back into the swing of things...so....... a funny thing happened while trying to find out about a shop.....
I get an email about a shop, (along with 8 million other people, I'm sure). I have trouble pulling the site up on my phone, so I email the scheduler specifically telling her I am interested in getting more information about it (The email didn't give specifics).
About an hour later, I get an email saying that it was assigned to me!! ummmmmm ok. The following morning (the day it is due) I get online to look at specifics. I immediately email the scheduler and say that I do not meet the age requirement for this shop. I wait several hours for a response. I hear nothing, and it being Sunday, the store has limited hours. Not wanting to flake, I assume/hope that they simply are desperate enough to lift that restriction, so I do the shop. At about 7 pm, (well after the store closes, I get an email from the scheduler. OOPS........ sorry about that, I have removed the shop from your log. Well.......great.......there is 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back!
The following day, I get a call from this same scheduling company asking me to do this SAME shop!! I explain what happened. The scheduler apologizes and says she will make a note.
Later I get a call from the MSC, asking for a clarification of what happened. I explain, and she apologizes. An hour later I get another email saying that I have accepted the shop!! NOT AGAIN!! LOL, no. The MSC added it to my log so that she could pay me for it any way. That was nice, but MAN......... Life is too short to waste soooo much time on a shop that you couldn't do even if you wanted to!!
shoot! Sorry, wrong forum (since I never actually mention the company) Will the powers that be, move me please??
