Really? I did a job for them early last month and it hasn't been paid yet. I verified the direct deposit information but it still isn't there.

They pay twice a month, so there must be some mistake. I would email them, for sure!

I also think they have recently changed that 4-hour window to "business hours", which would make a lot more sense.

If you accepted the shop at 1:00 AM, you had until 9:00 AM to make your first contact attempt. You shouldn't have even got the warning email. The only time I ever had a problem was when there was a note saying not to contact until after 10:30 AM, but I had to make my first call by 8:00 AM. Of course no one answered the phone as they weren't even open, so they put it on hold to contact the client. His response was," I said not to schedule the inspection until after 10:30 AM today, please follow instructions." Well I couldn't follow instructions or I would have been dropped from the inspection. They need to fix the system to accomodate special instructions like that. Other than that I have never had a problem.
I agree there whould not have been the warning email. But
1) If it was just a warning email and the call could still be made and the assignment could still be completed, then no big deal.
2) If the shop was self-assigned around 1:00 a.m. anywhere east of the Mississippi, then MSI/TS may have processed the request as having been received on the previous day, affecting the automated messages.

I am new to this forum but, have mystery shopped for almost 9 years off and on. I used shop for Trendsource quite a bit. I loved their assignments and I seemed to deal with the same lady all the time who was really nice. Their customer service helps, too.

I would like to know what companies pay the amount that you say. I do not work for the just one company. Over the years I have worked with about 15 companies. I have also learned my lesson about a few. I had one shop call the police on me and of course, when I tried to call CS there would not be anyone there to take my complaint much less talk to me. I was livid. It was not Trendsource.

If gas prices were not so high I would do more shops.

Elcarev68...Even if they considered it accepd on the previous day...they still should not have gotten the warning email. I think its any BV accepted after 5 pm or Maybe 4 not sure which, you have until 9 am to log the first attempt.
Sprinlgly, you will find most of us who treat this as a serious endeavor are registered with 150 to 200 companies.

Got it, and it does make a certain amount of sense, given that I think they're considering 8:00 at night to be the latest you can make a call. So a 5:00 self-assign gives you until 9:00 a.m. the next day, affording a one hour open window of calling in the morning. A 1 a.m. self-assign grants the same one hour between 8 and 9 a.m. I'll be watching the little countdown clock to see the next time I self-assign after 5:00 p.m. Actually, I'll just make the phone call the first chance I get.

Honestly, though, in the end I'm confused how an unjust automated e-mail reminder to make the call would be received as harassing - especially to the degree of removing oneself from that entire field of audits. Unless the MSC is going to drop you, withhold jobs or dock your pay, what's a nasty email?
The four hour time frame is hard to do, if you are ms'ing during the day and grabbed the job on the smartphone. It's too hard to read the requirement to make the call until I get home, which is not always in the 4 hour time frame. I would only take it if I'm at home.

Did they change the requirements? The last guideline I read (over 6 mos. ago) is that you do not need to meet the 4 hr. time frame, if you accepted the job after 7pm. You have until 10am, the next morning. Although they start the threatening emails starting at 9am.
