I can not believe that I went for this. I too was a pinecone survey taker quite a while ago. I recently responded to a job as mystery shopper for pinecone research. (oh something new) I went the whole nine yards to sending $1600.00 through Western Union. I then stumble across comments about this subject. It hasn't cleared the bank yet and I will call with the story. I wonder if they would help me out of this. I still don't believe this.

It sounds as though you were taken for $1600 by a scammer who was using Pinecone Research's name. I doubt Pinecone Research will be able to do anything to help you because I doubt they have any involvement with this. If you haven't contacted your bank yet to let them know there will be a problem, you should do so right away. I wish you the best, and I'm sorry you were scammed. Please come back and let us know how it comes out for you.
