Have you asked your scheduler?

The scheduler works for Kern.

I seek someone from Service Sleuth that can resolve some issues with the editors that someone from Kern probably can't deal with.

What do you think?

Thank you

If you'd mention what issues you're trying to resolve, maybe someone here has dealt with the same issue and can give you suggestions for how to resolve it.

Most of our interactions with editors has to do with them criticizing something we did or didn't do. I suspect that going over their heads will not be met with kindness on future reports.

Not to go against the "power of be" but why don't you contact the mother ship--------->HS Brands International is comprised of the Mershimer Group and Service Sleuth.

Kern has just recently started scheduling for SS and all shops are not assign through them. Kern is not all of that and a bag of chips. either. Not trying to dissuade any one either.

KSS has been scheduling for Service Sleuth for many years. For a very long time, KSS scheduled *all* of Service Sleuth's shops.
When I registered with SS 5 years ago, none of my shops were assigned through KSS. It has only been within the last year that KSS has been notifying me of shop through SS. Maybe it is my area but that is what I have noticed. I still get most of my shops through SS or HSbrand.

A few years back when KSS schedulers were at war with it is own staff and another scheduling company it was not any type of good idea to be affiliated with KSS. Just saying. smiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smiley
It must have been your area, then. KSS has been scheduling for Service Sleuth for much longer than five years. I am pretty sure there are other posters here who remember the end of the Evelyn Gledhill era at Service Sleuth and KSS taking over scheduling for the company. Some may even remember farther back, to the KSSEvelyn era.

Anyone can, of course, just say anything they like about KSS or any other company here. However, someone else can post in response and set the record straight.

This, by the way, is not a defense of KSS. I would have spoken up if this were about some other scheduling company. I would also still contact my scheduler first if the scheduler worked for some other scheduling company.

Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/10/2013 11:54AM by BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz.
Update:

The issue is still unresolved and the scheduler at Kern is unresponsive. The problem is a shop that was graded by one editor at wordsmithpros.com - then another editor at wordsmithpros.com re-graded the shop and wants more information. The second editor did reply to my email, but in a non-responsive way to my question - which was along the lines of why is a second editor asking for more information from a shop that was accepted by the first editor?

I am still looking for an a contact at Service Sleuth - someone who is involved in the operations of mystery shopping.

Thanks,

PS: The application for the shop was made at Service Sleuth's Sassie site in an attempt to avoid the middleman (Kern). So much for that idea.

You can email scheduling@hsbrands.com or scheduling@servicesleuth.com and the email will go directly to me. I am happy to help you in any way possible as I work directly for HS Brands International.

Thanks so much!
BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz,

Well said.

I had to edit it because I left my browser window open for a long time before I posted contact info. for the heads of Service Sleuth and Wordsmith Pros. After I posted, I saw the response from a Service Sleuth rep. had made my post moot and even inappropriate. So, I edited it to just say what was left to say. Hope your issue is resolved.
Update:

This matter is over. Thank you for all your input.

I received a response from an employee of Service Sleuth that answered my question: Why is a shop that was accepted by one editor reviewed by a second editor who asked for more information? The answer acknowledged the problem, apologized and gave a reasonable explanation. That was all I wanted. I then provided the additional information.

Yes, CAscotch. It was a significant hassle and I thank you for your opinion about providing the additional information. However, I was miffed because the first editor emailed me an acceptance of the report. I took another view that the report was accepted and if a mistake was made, it should be the MSP's obligation to acknowledge it and explain before considering asking the shopper for more.

I understand your frustration, vlad. I always feel that way when something said is nonsensical or things happen in a way that make it seem like whatever is superfluous or extraneous. Sometimes, all I need is a little logical explanation and then I'm good to go. =) I'm so happy to hear that this person was willing to work with you in a reasonable way and that the issue is resolved.

Hearing about the "history" between KSS and Service Sleuth was quite... interesting. It sounds like there was some serious drama llamas in the past! Wow! =)
