Whole Foods

Being in Dallas, I shop for the same company as AustinMom. I agree with everything she says, cool shop, quick pay, easy form. I do them every time I get a chance.

But... we have a new compettitor here in town. It's called NewFlower Market. I have read that others in the same chain are call Sunflower Markets, and some are called Sprouts. It's a smaller version of WF and a lot cheaper. I hope they are soon shopped. Just opened less than a month ago.

I guess I won't be shopping Whole Foods, at least not for payment! I have to go there becuase my son has a reaction to certain food dyes and one specific preservative found in certain meats, so I have to buy most of my meat and all our snack foods there. It's a costly situation to be in, but I don't have a choice. I spend about $35 a week minimum at WHole Foods. It allows him to have food that his freinds have without feeling different- doritos, hot dogs, fruit roll ups, etc. are a few of the things I regularly buy there. Our Easter Ham came from there and it was $58.00! Ouch.

I do the sushi shops for them, but that is not a WF shop. That is from Gengi Express, the company that is subcontracted by WF to provide their shushi in their stores.

I have googled San Antontio and San Diego mystery shopping, Whole Foods mystery shop/ping. *shrug*

PS: I am already signed up with one company is San Antionio-they have an awful website that uses a weird fade in/fade out feature. They have no job board, and most features are disabled.

Susan, I think you found it. Think blue screen ...swirl .... slowly open ........ You need to register. They contact you the first time. After you do one WF, you can go in and look to see that the monthly job are posted. You will have to e-mail them and tell them which of the available shops you could do and they e-mail you back and assign you one. They assign you a location with a 5-6 day period in which to do it. You do your report online. It's slow to get onto the first shop but be patient. Once you do one, you can get in each month when they release the new shops.

Barbage, have you been to NewFlower yet? One opened here in Austin about a month ago. I got a flier and it looks awesome but I haven't made it there yet.
Ok, if that is them... I signed up with them a long while ago and I have yet to be contacted. hmmmm.

I just another email from a very trendy company doing a competitor price audit in a town where I know there is WF. All arrows point that this is correct MSP, as they are in the correct location. I am trying to get that shop even though they don't list the client.

Wish me luck. At this point I've done all I can do to get into WF, and for me it's more than just making extra money. I have to shop there for a reason, so I am desperate to get in!
I've got my fingers crossed for you. I have done one price audit at a grocery store here in Austin (not WF) and it wasn't my cup of tea. Not because of the company. The company paid fast and their schedulers were very nice. I just didn't like the price audit. It took a long time and frustrated me. I would certainly accept other kinds of shops from this company but haven't seen any that weren't snapped up before I got to them. But good luck, maybe in your area the price audit will be a WF.
The price audits can be easy or difficult, depending on the lists you get. If you get vitamins it is a GINORMOUS PITA. :-(

I can only hope it's not vitamins. it said I would have to get pricing on 50 different items in the store. God I hope it's not vitamins. Does that sound like the correct MSP to anyone?

I have done price audits before, and I actually like them! smiling smiley To me it's less work to just look up a price than to come home and at night when the kids are in bed after 8:00 pm to try and think clearly enough to write a good report... LOL
They are a pain on the reporting on that. If you get a price outside their range, you have to justify it. I repeat, some lists are super easy - meat, etc,

But wait. If you get vitamins, cancel! :-)

How did you get it-who did you ask-did you ask so many peeps that you look like a shopper-your price must be wrong, you need to go back=did you walk the entire store to the get the price of something that really will only be in one place

I did a Whole Foods shop back in December and I got it through the company Consumer Research Group. Their website is: [www.crg-web.com]

I don't know if anyone else has shopped with this company before, however it was not bad. I liked doing the Whole Foods shop. Got some good wine!!! LOL

But Whole foods can't justify their prices!!
What does that have to do with this, Sneaks? And why can't they? I disagree, even though I cannot afford most food there, the quality of the suppliers is VERY high. I know this personally, not from shopping. No one forces anyone to shop at any store, but if they want to give me money to go there, does it matter if it costs me $12 for one piece of meat? Not to me. Ultimately, I am not paying in the MS'ing scheme of things.

I just got me first Whole Foods shop offer. I took a look at the entry form and wow, that looks like a lot of work for $$ they offer. I might try a Customer Service Assessment and get some nitrate free hot dogs for my kids.
I thought the Whole Foods shop was the easiest grocery I have ever done. One cashier, one question in one dept. The form was mainly check the box. The other groceries here are LOT more work.

If you keep all company information in your files, then search for the city the company is in and you might have it. I list all companies I find, then sign up with them as I have time.

I did an assignment at Whole Foods recently. I found it a nuisance to do. It was difficult to determine exactly which departments I was supposed to visit from the paperwork they gave me. It isn't exceptionally close to my house, although easy to get to. I'd do it again only if I was in the neighborhood.
I love the Whole Food shops. It is not nearly as hard for me as some of the others. The ones here have 2 departments that you have to have interactions with, and then the cashier. But I love the store and go often when it's not a shop, so doing the shops are a bonus.
I love the Whole Foods shop. The other grocery shop I do regularly pays less and reimburses less. The other shop also requires me to get the name of an employee in each department and interact with them, as well as getting names of the front end manager and greeter. And I have to buy 10 items with a $6 reimbursement - hard to buy 10 items and only spend $6 so I always go way over. Whole Foods only requires you to interact with employees in 2 departments (different ones assigned for each shop) and with the cashier. It reimburses $10 and I can buy only one or 2 items. I would shop Whole Foods more if I could afford it - love the shops!

Should not the name of the MSC be removed there?
