Anyone get the, “NEW Western Union Shops available!” notice today?

"Money Transfer shops! These shops are intended to test ID compliance."

Real or not I don't think I would ever try this type of shop. Too many past scams involving Western Union. Would You?

I'm sure they're legitimate integrity shops, testing to see if the clerk will agree to an improper transfer. But you don't go through with it. I think it's important work but I think I'd be too nervous to do it, kinda like those gun-purchase shops they had a few months back where you tried to buy a gun for someone who couldn't pass the background check.

Again, important work, but it takes bigger cajones than I have to pull it off.

i liked the shops i did before where the "goal" was to purchase something
then return it later with switching out the product in the box with something
of comparable weight to see if the rep actually opened the box to
check the product before returning it

I have done these shops
You are NOT sending or receiving money
Just asking what the ID requirements are to send money.
There are two scenarios
No money is involved with either

If it is the one that I did, it was just asking about sending to see if they told you that you needed ID. I did two of them. They were very straight forward, and there was no transfer of money at all. The form was easy to fill out as well.

I did the coaching yesterday and am doing one tomorrow, you do NOT actually give or send any money. They seem easy enough, we'll see, but funny, the pay is more than their dealerships. Will keep you posted.....
