CORI Magic Number 5!

I saw this discussed quite some time ago. How many 5's does it take to get your average up to 5.0. The answer appears to be 38. Yesterday I had completed 37 and still hovered at 4.9. Today one of my shops was accepted and now it's 38 shops and 5.0 average.

I'm not bragging - if you've been around you know that CORI almost always gives reports a 5. I just wanted to answer the mystery - kind of like, "How many licks does it take to get to the center..."

Love the last line because that was one of two things I thought of at the beginning of your post. Make that three things, the first being "42" and the second, "So long, and thanks for all the fish."

You're halfway there!

Grrrrr......I have done 2,967 shops for them. Still at 4.3 due to weather related scheduling issues.
Don't feel bad. I'm at about the same number due,to some scheduling mishaps on their end. They would have adjusted but I was too lazy to worry about it at the time. As many shops as we have done, our numbers won't rise much at all. It may have been a year or more for mine to increase by .1.

While reaching for the 5, it also has to do with how many per month. You can do 1 or 2 a month forever, and not reach that goal.

Wow, that shoots my magic number of 38 out of the water! I thought the mystery had been solved, but now there are just more questions.

<sigh>

I may not sleep tonight.

I was going to respond to that but just noticed something else. Andrew, take a good look at your signature line and tell me what you see.

I checked and I had posted this in March, 2011.

Thanks. I can now move on with my life knowing this is confirmed.

the next question to resolve is to see what happens after
you get one unassigned shop dropping you down to a 4.5
to see how long it takes to get back up to a 5

= + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = +
There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots

Well, I have one unassigned shop with them, dropped me to a 4.5. That was in December at Christmas, my daughter was in the hospital...Anyhow, I have now done 129 shops since then. No mishaps, all 5's. I am now at a 4.6. I think it will be FOREVER until I hit that 5 again.
Yes, the climb back up is painful.

Their "algorithm" is apparently set to take 20x to go up as long once you have a red mark/unassignment. I also wonder if there is some manual adjustment in there too. I recently reentered a shop that did't upload correctly, they put it back up to redo it and still never got my rating fixed.

It is also pointless to ask about it.
I had a 5 with them a long time ago. Then for some reason not explained to me my rating was lowered. I didn't drop a shop, I wasn't late. No response when I asked why. I have complete a few hundred shops since that time and my shopper rating still stands at 4.9. I only do shops when I have time. Sometimes it is several a month and sometimes none per month. Maybe that is the reason. Since I do my shops, report them all on time, I don't even think about that 4.9 anymore. I never got less than a 5 on a shop and I have complete over 1000 shops for them.
I noticed when my rating went down, I was not able to self assign as many shops as I can now with a higher rating.
EEEEE... wrong- 38 is not the magic number, apparently. I have done 50 shops for them, 49 of them a 5 and one a 4.5 and my rating is STILL 4.9.

Your auditor rating is 5.0 out of 5.

Only took me 21 shops and 2 of them I reschedule myself.

Hmmm... When did you sign up with them? Maybe the scoring system has changed. What rating did you start at?

I guess I signed up on the 8 of April 2013. I did my first shop Friday the 19 of April. Rating was 3.5, I think. All my scores were 5.
