Cori 3 Day Assignment Window?

I just recently signed up with Cori and am trying to figure out their website.

I'm trying to self-assign my first shop. Next Tuesday is gray and the only date that I can select.

The next five days after that are green, which the legends says means "Days you can perform the shop if within 3 day assignment window". What does that mean? Does it mean that if I choose the grey date, that I can perform the shop for any of the next three days?

I can't do the shop on Tuesday, but I could do it later in the week. But I can't select any of the dates that I could actually do it. And I certainly do't want it to be late.

Thanks in advance for your help.

From what you've described, I suspect that Wednesday will turn light blue or orange when you look at it tomorrow, Monday. Wednesday and Thursday will be light blue when you look at them on Tuesday, and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday will be light blue if you look at them on Wednesday. Sounds like you're looking at a shop that can't be done on Mondays or Tuesdays or you're looking at a shop that doesn't start till Wednesday.
As for Tuesday, it may look like you can select a grey date and get yourself into trouble, but you can't really select it.
Pop some other shops into your cart and poke around their calendars. Just don't confirm them if you select any dates.
The light blue dates are your current window. If you're just starting out with Cori, then probably all of this month's shops have blue showing for today, tomorrow and the next day. You could sign up for one of those 3 days, and you would need to complete it on that *specific* day.
An exception to this rule would be shops that can only be completed on certain days of the week. Any day that is not acceptable due to client standards will be grey, even if that day is today, tomorrow or the next day.
Beyond that three day light blue window, you see green days. That means that the location can be shopped on those days, once they're within the three day window. If today is Sunday, Wednesday is the first green date, but it will be light blue when you look at it tomorrow, which means that you could sign up for it tomorrow.
Red days mean that you cannot shop that location on that day at all. It won't turn light blue once it gets into the today-tomorrow-next day window. This is because either you have shopped it recently and need to wait a while or because that shop cannot be completed on that day by anyone (usually because it's beyond that shop's deadline.)
Finally, you may see an orange day. That's the first date on which you can sign up for a shop, usually meaning that when I'm in my 45 day re-shop waiting period, on the orange day I could go to the board and sign up for the blue dated shop (which at that point will be two days after the orange, because you can't ever sign up more than two days in advance.)
Except that you can - for next month's shops. Cori makes it possible for you to sign up weeks in advance for the first three days of next month. But the price you'll get for those shops is a pittance and an insult. During or after those first three days, prices will go up for every shop, at different rates and at different intervals. Don't ever, ever, ever take the opening price. You will be mocked and verbally skewered by this forum, and after you see what the prices of the other shops go up to, you will ask for an extra skewer.
Hope this helps.
For CORI there is no actual window, you must pick a single date. Most of the time they only allow you to pick a date if it is no more than three days out which includes the current day. Today is Sunday so an available shop could be scheduled for today, Monday or Tuesday. Those five days that are green will become available as the week progresses.

Thanks, elcarev68 and LisaSTL! This helps a lot! I even went back and looked at some of the training, but didn't see anything about a "3 Day Window".

Actually, Tuesday was light blue, not gray, which was why I could select it, but it was the only day that was.

They mention that you can reschedule some shops once. Can I tell before I select a shop whether I could do something like select Tuesday (only blue day available) and then reschedule it for Wednesday or Thursday (currently green days)?

FYI - this is a casual dinner shop with a $13+ fee on top of the reimbursement. I'm not sure if those gas shops are for me at all, and definitely not for the amounts that I am seeing. (The highest one in my area is about $9 right now.) I really appreciate the warning, and learned a big lesson with Maritz in that regard.
I don't know of any way to see that before taking the shop. If there are still green days on the calendar, that means they have some time before it has to go to the client and would increase the chance you could reschedule. You didn't say if Tuesday was the actual start date for that round of shops. If not, anything sooner may have been blocked because of shop rotation. Many of their clients want a minimum of 7 days between visits.

I've not use the reschedule feature enough to know in advance as to which clients', or if all clients', shops can be rescheduled. If they all can, then certainly I would think that it only could for two or three days beyond the scheduled date, but not if those dates are beyond the end date of that shop.
Thanks everyone. I grabbed the available date because I thought I might be able to move things and make it work... and wanted to see if it would let me reschedule. I did not see any way to reschedule it. I looked again the next day when an additional day should have been available and still no option to reschedule. I still wasn't feeling well and wasn't going to be able to make it work, so I chatted with support, and they moved it for me. The food was great BTW!
