I find it interesting they are now handling the program for two
of the three major chains. You would think clients wouldn't
want that but they aren't the first msc to have competing clients

I just shy away from these shops bec for all the years I've been shopping I am NOT comfy with the picture situation. my friend who is very "careful" got burned twice.
I have seen several messages regarding the pizza pictures. I have contemplated taking one of these shops, what is the big deal with the pictures?
Easier than what? Giving an elephant an enema?

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
I did not see anything about the pictures being "easier". Have they changed the required pictures, again?

I've done several of these shops with no issues at all. I haven't done them with the new specs though. I can't even think about eating pizza now because I did so many in such a short amount of time! I was taking pics with my Samsung Galaxy3 and editing slightly with Microsoft picture manager to make sure the white was white. I took both flash and sunlight photos and submitted one of each. I had to edit the job ID # in on one of them because the pic didn't show it well enough, but still no issues. The instructions are pretty easy to follow.
I just find molesting the pizza, flipping it over, taking multiple shots and moving it around .....to be un-appetizing.

Just give me a hot pizza that I just ordered, so I can devour it NOW...smiling smiley
MrsDupont, I'm with you. I have done several of these shops too and find them really easy. I actually just did one a few hours ago. I take multiple pictures with my iPhone5 and then crop them. The trick is to make sure you take pictures in an area with lots of natural light. The instructions give you examples of what the pictures should look like.

There are easier pizza shops out there (and they taste better).
I could be tempted to do one for a $50 bonus only as by the time the pictures are done the pizza is cold and mangled badly. Following the forum for about a year now, it really sticks in my mind how many people got burned on this particular shop.

Burned by a cold pizza........THAT'S irony, people.
I just did one and it was quite easy. I don't eat pizza a lot, but I happen to have a teenager at home who runs track and swims, and, well, she can eat it...
Never been burned by the pizza shop, but have had my order messed up. Make sure you check the pizza before the driver leaves. Twice I have gotten two pizzas out of the deal: the wrong pizza (driver let me keep) and the correct pizza.
I just did one a few days ago. I stressed myself out too much I know and used my high end Sony Nex camera which did a better job than my iphone5. ( I took a few iphone ones to compare, with and without flash- terrible). I'm a stickler for perfection and I'm also advanced Photoshop editor so of course I quickly edited each image to my liking. I wasn't too happy about having to get it all done that night but hung in there.

I really hoped for feedback but all I got was "no issues". Lol I guess that's good. It would have been great to see feedback like I get from a few other MSC's. Anyways I think I could do it again and be more relaxed. smiling smiley
I really didn't find the pictures to be that big of a deal. Actually that was one of my very first shops. I even took the pictures with my iPhone because I think it takes better pics than my Kodak smiling smiley. Got paid for the shop within 2 weeks- so they must have been fine. Just my two cents.

Good luck to everyone else who does them.
I take these when they have them as carry outs as there are no delivery places in my rural area. Natural light works much better and the pizza is always fine. Do it for MSI and not the competitor though as MSI pays a fee plus the pizza.
