Stericycle (CRI)

I must say I was saddened to learn that some of my favorite CRI schedulers have left CRI, do to the company closing their Ohio Branch. I live in NH. and had built a great relationship withy Terry, Heather and Kim. I called them my Angels and they would jokingly refer to me as Charlie. I don't know if other shoppers have developed relationships with schedulers, but I found to to be beneficial to all involved. I guess what I am trying to say is Thank you ladies for all of your support and good luck in the future

bxb21 Charlie.

Happy Shopping to all.

I do feel bad for them having lost their jobs. It is pretty much an epidemic these days. Hubby lost his job several years ago after 41 years with the same company. Never saw that coming, but one thing we know for sure nobody who works for a company of any kind is safe from the axe.

That made him pretty bitter, but it also made us realize all the more how much we prefer working for ourselves ( I have been self-employed for decades and he never quite got why I liked it so much despite long hours - he does now).

It is hard going and having no benefits, along with aging and having occasional health issues can be a real killer but at least we get to decide who we work for and how long we work. It definitely beats being loyal to a company only to be out on your ear at retirement time.
I sometimes regret having quit my job several years back to be self-employed, but then I remind myself that there is so much more to life than money. I make my own schedule, take off when I want, work as much and as often as I want, and wherever I want including other states. While I made more working in corporate America, I still don't think I could or would ever go back.
