I got this this am; I wanted to write back and ask her is they are doing the survey without being paid for it, since they seem to think shoppers should do so.

Hi Shoppers!

During these challenging economic times, companies need to differentiate
themselves from their competitors by focusing on their customers and providing
extraordinary experiences. To better understand the type of experience that
consumers demand from companies seeking their business, Customer Service Experts
is partnering with Strativity Group to launch a new study that benchmarks the
key drivers of great customer experiences.

We need your help in identifying the key drivers of a great customer experience.
Your participation in this 15-minute study will help us provide companies with a
better understanding of how they can better meet the needs of their customers
and become more profitable in the process.

To thank you for your participation, you will be entered into a raffle to win
one of twenty $50 American Express gift cards. To become eligible for the
raffle, all you need to do is complete the survey and enter your email when
prompted at the end of the survey. Raffle winners will be selected when the
survey concludes on or around April 30. You can participate in the survey by
copying and pasting the link into your web browser:

Thank you in advance for your help in defining what consumers want from the
companies seeking their business. Feel free to share this invitation with any
friends, family or colleagues whom you believe would be interested in
participating as well.

Sincerely,
Lise D'Andrea

You know, any time these companies hold a drawing or sweepstakes you never hear of anyone winning it, nor do I believe that it's a real legitimate person even if they say who won.

Hey, I know of one shopper who I trust who mentioned a year or so ago he got one of the Home Depot gift cards (I think that was what it was) in an SI drawing. But that drawing was not in lieu of pay. It was an incentive to get folks to continue working through the holidays. The pay was the same as it was throughout the rest of the year. When you are asking that I accept low pay because there is a sweepstakes chance, phooey. When you are asking that I accept a sweepstakes chance instead of pay, phooey.
I read of someone who won one of the MFI ones on V; I like the way a couple of MSC's post the winners of their awards (not sweepstakes) on their sites. Dynamic Advantage comes to mind.

Considering how many sweepstakes and such there are out there it is a little surprising that you don't hear somebody mention winning one more often. Guess it may be an indication of how few shoppers know about or avail themselves of forums or something.
Or perhaps the odds of winning... ;-)

That could be included in "or something". Similarly, owning up to having won could be "or something"
It took 5 minutes to do the survey. I'll let you know if I win anything smiling smiley
