I just wanted to comment that there were many "toads" in your post, from the very first sentence: "I laughing hysterically."
Who are you to corner one proofreader, and blast her or him with your frustration?  You might think about going to a Craigslist and venting your anger on Rants & Raves, since your post is disturbing to others.
