Can someone with Cori experience answer a few questions?

I just completed my first five shops with Cori yesterday. I was really worried because I got caught in a flash flood, torrential rain, the big fire up in Yosemite and Labor Day traffic. There was no way on Earth I could get the reports done in six hours. All my batteries on every electrical device died and I could not get wifi or computer access. As a matter of fact, the last report did not get done until about 1 p.m. today.

I just got back four of the five scores and they are all fives. It looks like that is common. It doesn't appear they are docking me for the late reports. I did email them as soon as I got back to civilization and they did not delete my shops as threatened in an auto-email. What is their policy on such things?

Next, I noted last month that the gas station jobs for this month all started at $4. Four of my shops yesterday were gas stations and there is no way I would go through all that work for $4. The pay I did get was much more reasonable. But I noticed that people had already claimed the $4 jobs last month. Do they then ask for an increase or what?

And finally, how does Cori determine what they pay for a shop? Many shops are really odd amounts and the figures are all over the place. Do they go up during the month as it gets closer to the end?

So far, I feel like I've had a really good experience with Cori. I cannot believe they accepted one of the gas station shops I did because I did it in complete darkness in the middle of nowhere. I do use a 24 mp digital SLR, so it captured everything like it wasn't dark outside. The overall photo was okay, but not great because the property was a good ten acres and, like I wrote, it was pitch black outside.

When should I expect to be paid for shops I completed yesterday and were input and graded today?

Boy you had the perfect storm huh? I don't think anyone's awake at 1am to delete your assignments. Also there are many people who pick up shops at $4.00. We've had quite a bit of discussion about it on here as it really annoys a lot of us. For the most part I think we've concluded they are new shoppers that are just excited about mystery shopping and don't realize they're not making any money. No they're not asking for bonuses, it doesn't work that way with Cori. Most of us just sit it out and wait until the commission gets to where we find it acceptable and then take the shop. Yes Cori shops increase as the month goes on.
they may not have taken the shops. Some clients show as a B once you do
the shop because of rotation requirements

Copied from OP: When should I expect to be paid for shops I completed yesterday and were input and graded today?

It is VERY rare that the above will happen. I have CORI shops completed and reported 8/24 that have not yet been graded. Payments are made each Friday (direct deposit) for those graded the previous week.
sun&fun since the new office fully took over, all my shops have been
graded so far within 24 hours, most by midnight the same day I have
entered them. A welcome change from the old system which could
take as long as a week before they were graded.

I've found that if you explain why and ask for an extension in reporting time they will extend the time. I had a couple of bonused shops on the road and explained that I was arriving at my destination late and after a full day of driving could the reporting time be extended to 24 hrs.

It also works for other MSC's, even MF. They worst they can say is no.
I frequently take Cori shops quite a distance from home and when I get home in the wee hours of the morning, I fall directly asleep. I report in the AM and have never had a problem. They automatically send out the "Past Due" notices, but I just delete them. I had a few go to after 1PM the next day and they've never been deleted. I no longer stress about entering their reports the same day if I'm on the road.

I believe I had heard that th delete at 36 hours. I wouldn't push the time unnecessarily, however it is rare that my shops are actually done in the six hour timeframe. If I do bunch of shops I will submit the report before I go to bed that night but dependent on when they were done the day before it could be 12-14 hrs. after the shop.

They have some computer program which assigns the increase in shop fees. It is some supposedly dependent on the rate at which the shop was last chosen. So if it had to get up to $50 for the month before, it will increase much quicker than if it was taken at five dollars.
Mr. techman - I just checked again just to see if mine were graded and I somehow missed the email for my grade. My "ice cream" shop which was HEAVILY bonused and gas station shop (8/24 & 8/25) have not yet been graded. . . would have been nice to have that direct deposit this week since it's not payday for my regular job. Oh well, heading out to do another gas station shop today. I think the "graders" who work from home sometimes are not as quick to grade.

Did you check the bottom of your homepage and make sure
the receipts are visible there? Even if they are, use the upload
receipt button and reupload the receipts. Sometimes it's like magic.
If you did shops after that date that were graded I would either email
or use the live chat(if its working) and ask if there was an issue with them

Sun&Fun, techman is absolutely right. Re-upload the receipts. It's like a "gentle" reminder that the shop is not graded yet.

I had 3 or 4 shops out there that reloading the receipts "magically" got them graded.
As for when you get paid....If you had the shops completed and the reports "graded" by 12m EASTERN time....you SHOULD get paid the following Frid9ay. {ex: shops completed 9/1 then should get paid...9/13)

As for shops being deleted....For the past few years I have traveling, like other shoppers, to make the most of the "boonie-high paying shops". There are several times I am in an area by the end of the day that has NO INTERNT service. My shops will NOT be deleted till 36 hours later. (ex: shops was done on Monday 9/1 and have till 9/3 at noon Eastern time till it is deleted). BUT PLEASE DO NOT PUSH OR WAIT TILL THE LAST MIN TO PUT IN REPORTS!!!! You NEVER know when the system is going to be down or slow. Also the system usually runs a little slower on Sunday evening and Monday Mornings because so many shoppers are trying to put in reports, all other times it runs great!!

Also please know that they do understand circumstances that are not in your control...weather, car problems, family situations, sick, ect......BUT I will say that you need to treat CORI like you do your Monday thru Friday job and have to show "proof" if you want help with something. I say this because I have "situations" and have always had proof and never had a problem with keeping my rating and shops getting moved.

Keep an eye on the shops at the bottom of your home page....if there is a shops still on the bottom of the page you need to get on chat to find out if something is missing or needed to complete the report.

As for the rates....like other shoppers have said....WAIT....the price will go up!!!

Good Luck and WELCOME to CORI!!!!!

There have been some excellent threads on the Forum this year about Cori's payment schedules and pricing scales. I'd encourage you to do a search. In addition to the excellent advice already given on this thread, I'd reinforce what's been said here and that you'll find elsewhere, which is don't ever, ever take the shops at the price posted before their first increase. On or near the first of every month, prices go up significantly, and then increase regularly throughout the month. Except for a few anomalous shops that get missed in the first price increase, they'll all go up periodically, usually by varying amounts. Watch them and maybe even keep a chart to see what they go up to before they're taken, and you'll get a feel for what the real "going price" is, though in the end you'll have to decide what the different shops' work is worth to you.
