They have tons of Medicare shops here, with a longer than long report. I was doing them last year and changed carriers through on of my shops, happy I did.
Not doing them this year, too much work. When I joined TS I didn't have enough shops to self-assign, then they changed
to requiring the EIN#. I applied on their site (there's a link), it was free, and took me 3 minutes. For my situation, being retired, and only Msing, taxes are not a problem having an EIN. I self-assign now, it is my understanding for newcomers, you
need to get one to self-assign...I can only speak for CA, where I live. I can't live without their grocery shops that seem to pay higher here than I'm reading in other places. Their paying the 5th and the 20th puts them on my top 3 list.
