Is it common to have to requalify for CORI shops?

CORI increases commissions until the shop is taken. Every shop starts at between $3 and $6. We have all picked up those same shops for $15, $20, $30 and up. How quickly they rise and how high they will go is dependent on your area. Shops consistently picked up at a lower rate will be slower to rise.

the new requirements complicates the out of stock situation
and the employee needs to show you on your smartphone
how to find the product yourself since they now have interactive
maps in their app showing where every item in the store is...
among other waiting requirements

Plus it changes the out of stock requirements for many of us. I know a lot of people use appliances for the OOS scenario, it's kind of hard to go to the department next to appliances and say to an employee, excuse me, I'm looking for a new range, where can I find them? Duh, right in front of your nose ya idiot. So now, not only does it possibly add 10 minutes to your shop time, it puts you in a department that's tougher to do the OOS.

You don't have to change your OOS item if it was an appliance. You just have to look really, really stupid and employees remember really, really stupid customerswinking smiley

HA! Exactly. It also makes it hard to use lawn and garden, tools, and lighting, which were my backup departments. The easiest OOS departments also are the ones that are most visible.

I noticed the last few I did, the survey included a question about whether or not I had a smart phone.

So, are we now *required* to have a smart phone to do the shop?

I gotta check this new training out.

Nothing indicated a smart phone was required. According to the guidelines, the associate has several options for demonstrating the new app including using your phone. If I remember correctly the shopper also has the option to decline.

I was just in the store today. My smartphone has no signal in there. LOL. That should make it fun.

OMG.... I was eating ice cream when I read this and it went everywhere!!!!

Good timing for you on the DIY fee of $32 last time. The starting prices for all Cori shops are ridiculously low, but they go up periodically until a shopper takes them. You caught it at the very tail end of upward progression last time. Wait 'em out this time. They'll all go up.
When client requirements change, there is a requal required for all shoppers. Frequency varies by client, but it's often once or twice per year. Bad timing that you qualified only a few days before we were all required to requal. You'll be good for a while this time.
It is already hard enough to find an employee to help you....NOW they have "permission" to be on their phones!!!
Great!!! This will be interesting if I take one of these on a "slow" day at that store!
Regarding the email, I received one regarding helping me to qualify for the big burger client and then a few minutes later one that said disregard as I was already qualified. But I haven't seen any of those burger shops on the board since September. Anyone else?
I got the burger test email, but have *never* seen that client on my boards ever.

I received both of those emails, too, but I can see the shops on the job board.

I had that burger shop on board. I was trying to take it as the fees went extra up but it
would not allow me because of the available dates. Next time I tried, it was gone.
I was disappointed because a different shop near the area went unusually high as well and
I was waiting for the date to open. So I lost both. So far, I haven't done anything for them
because of the open dates.
I've done several of the DIY shops, and have yet to have a sales associate ask me about a cell phone. What makes me wonder is that they don't ask for any names or descriptions of associates for OOS like that do for Impact.

Yeah, I've wondered why they don't care about the name of the OOS associate, either. They used to want all the names, when you had to find three to greet you, just for the greet! Now they don't want the name of someone you actually interact with. Hmmm. Oh well, their prerogative! smiling smiley

I have seen only one or two burger shops on the board, however, I have completed a TON of the burger shops. The schedulers are calling shoppers and scheduling these over the phone.
I have never received a single email from them. I just checked my settings and I'm set for emails, so I'm not sure why I don't get them. Is there any pattern to when the fees rise? I keep obsessively checking the site.
Wow, you don't even the the 'Commission Increase' emails? That's weird.

Not sure about a pattern to the rising fees. I've never been able to determine one. Like, they'll raise for some locations of a chain, but not others.

I don't get emails from them either unless it's an urgent shop email, and those are very few and far between.
