Do you know they are ONLY paying like $3 now for the gas station shops? that's ridiculous. it doesn't even pay to leave your darn driveway with this company!

They are rude and hostile too. I hate talking to some of their dispatchers, they treat like dirt~

Time sink, that's a good way to put it.. yeah.. the blue-light place doesn't even have enuf employees to let you enter your report.

i'm tired of working for peanuts for this place, they treat you brutually too..
There are a FEW nice dispatchers there, but not many.

Most of the times, they lie too, to cover up their wrongdoings or mistakes.

Not a nice place to work in this bad economy, imho. I've noticed too, that the gasoline shops are ONLY paying like $3 at first.... even then, they often will NOT accept your report and any mention that there's a problem with the report ends up in my SPAM folder, for some reason.

I guess, even my "computer" thinks they are a bad place to shop! LOL smiling smiley

ahh... i think if they are desperate then they will work with you... as they did me... i had to redo the shops twice and cancel one (which they docked me some points for) but hey about 10 a shop for four shops you can not beat... it was easy and on my way...

WV has some good shops for them... i saw one bonused all the way to 50 bucks but i think it was on top of a mountain

I do think that's true, MrComputer. I know their wages are usually low, but you gotta figure it's good experience for the shops that Do pay well! And you can always say you've worked for them for 5 years, instead of saying you've been looking for work for 5 years!

In this horrible economy, it's a shame they won't give the shopper more $$ but at least we got the option of having "something". I sure cannot live off nothing, that's for sure.
I see they got alot of training for different companies. which pay the better rates?

I also see they got a shop for only 18-25 year olds that pays fantastically, but yet, most of their other shops are atrocious pay rates. That's a little discriminatory to my way of thinking....

Oh, when you do the gas shops, how many or what was the most shops (gas) you did in one day?

I agree $3 is ridiculous. it used to be $4, which was like being a slave too, but $3 when the gas is getting higher, not lower in price seems absurd.

We didn't do them for a couple of months due to all the bad winter weather, but then when I went back online to try get some gas shops, I saw they lowered their rate!

I wonder WHY they did this? This surely is not going to attract more shoppers that's for sure.

I also see most of the shops taken, in the last 6 months. Oh, well, so much for the stimulus bill!

It's stimulating me to go check out the price of tents! We may be living in one soon! sad smiley
I try to do 6 gas shops per day. For other companies...winking smiley

I could be wrong, but I think I know what shop you are talking about. They have that age range for a reason, it is to test if the employees request ID. You don't have to be in that age range. I'm 35 and I do those shops all the time, you just need to bring someone with you in that range.
The age verification shops require someone with you 25 or younger. They have a nother shop they dropped the age on. I was doing that shop and decided to threaten age discrimination. The age requirement was dropped and then I decided to stop doing them...winking smiley

Yeah, I'm aware of that lisams.. bringing someone else with me, but most of my really young friends have a regular day job and cannot take time off work.

Oh, I have a question... anyone having trouble with some of the new schedulers for CR? I have done this one shop for years now.. done it dozens of times, yet they assigned a new scheduler recently and I went way out of my way to get the job done and did a really good job, as it finally paid me a decent wage.

But.. i find out.. days later, the scheduler's e-mail to me, which stated I didn't put in the necessary info.. and I know THAT a lie, because I took a screen shot of it, before posting...ending up in my SPAM folder! They also stated the receipt isn't clear enough but I just pulled it up and I can see all the info on it, so why couldn't they???
I'm not allowed to say the clients but they are a famous store, and have stores all over the US! I'm SO annoyed by this scheduler, and then she LIES and says the store has already been shopped when I asked to redo it, as I had to drive all the way out there yesterday anyway and would only be a few yards from the shop they just denied paying me for!

When I go on their board, though... I see the shop is still available! Wow.. I'm SO pissed off.. don't lie to me.. bad enough you've cost me almost $20 in gas and lost wages going off to do a shop that you refused for no good reason and then couldn't to send me off notification in the same way other schedulers did, so I could correct in time to get paid!

If you are wanting to know the scheduler you can PM me.. I think i should warn others about this scheduler.. she's corrupt!

Who looks at their SPAM folder??? There's nothing but crap and garbage from profiters from the Nigeria govt and that sort of scam!

Nope, the head scheduler INSISTED i set up my e-mail so that ANYTHING with @mysteryshops.com or their other e-mail goes into my regular e-mail folder.

But I know when I've done other shops for them... like the gas shops.. it is just listed noreply@blabla.com.....so that ALWAYS goes to my regular e-mail.

It seems weird doesn't it? That one scheduler can know how to correctly send an e-mail informing the shopper they need add'l info before they deny the shop totally (and btw, they are waiting literally DAYS to even LOOK at the shops I've done.. I don't think that's so fair either, when we got a strict deadline of getting it into them by midnight and you've travelled over 100 miles sometimes to get all their shops done, and for not much money either....

Who would you say are the good schedulers to work for?

Yeah, if they cannot get them done, they start upping the price to get the shop done on time.

Most of the time, it's some out of the way place that takes quite a long time to get to, though~
Oh boy. This is almost as bad as the one that went up eight cents. Today a sign shop went up 12 cents from its starting price. Why do they do this? Do they really think that extra 12 cents is going to be the "getting to yes" point?

Hahah I'm laughing at myself right now. I got halfway through your signature before I realized it wasn't part of your post and was just a signature.
LOL. It does hit at a funny place in the message. Although I doubt I will change the world at all, I do feel a kinship with the people in the first part of the quote. :-)
