Sounds like your virus made a mess of everything! I had to download something for screenshots since my screenshot would not function. When I did I got something added as a hidden add-on. I am so ticked! I cannot get rid of it. I have done uninstall and it is all gone. Not! So, I run my virus ware and it shows it is there as malware but it cannot get rid of it. So, now I get to take my laptop in...when? I am to busy to give it up for some time. UGH!
I was on MF today and had no issues with their site. I know it states there are certain ways to get your paperwork. You may have to use IE if Firefox doesn't work or something like that. Anyway, it is a rather tricky set of clicks for me to get my paperwork but if I follow it, I always get it w/out issues. I hope it all went well for you.
