How are Bestmark hotels?

How do their hotel reports stack up against say A Closer Look, Buckalew or Coyle? Anyone has experience?

I've never seen hotel shops from them in my area, either.

I've seen one come up now and then in Boston. It's a well known 3-star chain. Nothing special but not too bad... Haven't been chosen to do one yet, probably because I don't do much work for Bestmark.

Easier report than most, but the editors can be dense. One required that I use my room phone to call in a problem. My very real problem was that my room phone did not work. We passed it back and forth THREE TIMES before they could comprehend why I walked to the desk.
