A surprise from Intelli-Shop

My wife did the shop she was supposed to today (they fixed the scheduling issues on the two shops I mentioned in another post). Shop went excellent, she has to work early, so I take over finishing proof-reading her report and uploading the receipt for her.

Tonight the review comes back and she received a 10! My jaw dropped! Yes, my friends, a 10 does exist with Intelli-Shop!

Furthermore, upon further review of her overall rating with Intelli-Shop, she has a 10 average! I was even more shocked to see this.

I agree with Ishmael, not surprising here. I just went and checked my shop log. Seven shops with them, six 10's and one 9. Not a whole bunch of shops, but pretty much all 10's.

Congrats though on her 10. Hope there are many more in her future.

You're right. Someone--I think her name might have been Sarah--was posting on another thread.

Amusingly enough, I have six 10s, and one 9, too. Maybe it's because I've just done shops with easy reports and not much narrative.

I'm adhering to the old proverb: "Call no company good until it has paid you," but everything's okay so far.
I checked my rating with them too. Apparently, I was a little too harsh on them; I have more 10 ratings than other ratings.

Seems to me a lot of the posters on this forum have major issues with Intelli-Shop. My biggest issue is the editors who seem to nickel and dime reports, and find any reason to dock a shopper, no matter how minor it may be.

Intelli(?)-Shop is just about the only MSC that I haven't received all 10 ratings with. Sometimes, there's not even a reason I received a "9" for my shop, just a "thank you for submitting all required information on time" message. How does that tell me how I can improve my shop. I bet your editors would give War and Peace a crappy rating.

Too much negativity from editors and low, slow payments keeps you on my "less than ideal" MSC list. Do you realize that my wife gets paid $35- $65 (reg shopper pay w/o bonus) per test drive with other MSC's and their reports require a lot less detail (and she gets 10 ratings on her shops)? In addition, these other MSC's pay in 2 weeks usually. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I have a 10 average rating with Intellishop over three scored shops (one was not scored). Yes, they are possible.
Glad your wife got a 10 on her most recent shop! We love it when we find reliable shoppers who consistently give us good work. As for someone reading these posts, it would be silly for any company to not follow the conversation being said about them in a public forum such as this one. Even if other MSCs don't have someone replying to your posts, I'm positive they're reading them.

The reason why I created an account is because I've seen too many people post on here instead of contacting us about an issue. People then get upset and rant and nothing ever gets solved. As someone who works directly with our shoppers every day, that frustrated me that we were silent on here.

Does that mean I want you to stop posting negative reviews or experiences? Not at all, but I do want to help solve issues our shoppers are having with us. And if you're having an issue and you post about it on here, then other people who have the same issue may read about the solution and benefit from it.

My main goal by being here is to have a voice in the conversation. I'm not judging or keeping track of who's saying what to retaliate or be mad at someone--if there's a problem I want to help solve it.
I still have issues with your low pay on some shops (especially car dealerships), but I understand that is beyond your control. After all, most shoppers want to make as much money as possible, so that is probably not an unusual gripe about most companies on this board.

I say slow pay from Intelli-Shop and allow me to clarify that. I don't mean slow as in Service Sleuth or Confero kind of slow payment; where you wait over 60 days for payment. A lot of MSC's I do work for pay in 2 weeks or less. I was just stating my opinion on the payment policy in general; especially with companies who use paypal. I don't understand why shops take that long to pay.

20 10s, 6 9s, 1 8, and a mystery rating (it was left blank). So, yes, I get a good share of 10s. The only score that still has me shaking my head has glowing comments, but was scored a 9. All the other 9s had minor typos.

NOTE: I'm not on the forum every day. If someone comments on my post, I might not reply right away. I've been a shopper since 1991. I've never done any work for a MS company in any other capacity.
I have mostly 10s with them also. I do have an 8 which I disagree with because the comment was that they had to contact me for follow-up. The only contact I had was a reminder that I had to submit follow-up 72 hours after the shop to indicate if the location had contacted me. Since I had five hours to go before the 72 hours were up, I had obviously not done that piece yet.

I did not like being marked down while it was technically too early to submit, I decided not to argue because it was a well bonused shop.
I get a lot of 10's from intelli-shop. I have done several shops for them and I've never had a problem.
Intelli is a good msc. I haven't done a lot, but have always been paid well and bonused. Don't rely on the editors completely. They have one that is way off. I'm not even sure if she is still working. I usually receive a ten. Twice I got a 7 for using the wrong word, like your and you're. Just an honest mistake, I know the difference. I thought that was what editors were for.
