Ritter Lotto Tickets

I was thinking about how Ritter requires you to purchase a lotto ticket for one of their shops. What would happen if the lotto ticket was a winner? Do you suppose Ritter would want to claim that $50 million or more??? Oh how I hope to one day be in that predicament.....

Yeah..or buy one, then go back and buy another and hope they BOTH don't win, hahahaha
I thought I read in another thread today about a shopper winnning $19 & the MSC asking for the winnings. Hmmm....
How would the MSC know if you win. Do you scan the ticket and upload it with the report.
When I buy lotto on a shop, I only upload the receipt showing lotto purchase.

I have won $8 several times and they never asked for anything. I figured it is just like anything they reimburse you for when you do a shop. They don't ask for them.
If you're reimbursed for the lottery ticket, then the argument could be made that it is their ticket. On the other hand, if you're paid $12 for the shop and one of the requirements is to buy a ticket, then I could make the logical argument that the ticket is yours.

I haven't seen any shops where you buy the Powerball or MegaMillions tickets. You usually just buy the daily state lottery ticket where the payout maxes at $10k or so...not a life changing amount of money.

The shop that I do requires purchase of a powerball or megamillions ticket. I believe they reimburse the cost of the ticket. I actually have waited until past the drawing to submit the report, lol. I don't know why I always look at my numbers and think... these look like winners!
My gas station used to require lotto as part of its shop, but I don't know what they did with any winnings.
If I won the lottery and it was $millions, I would leave the country, hahaha! J/K

I've never had a shop where I had to buy a ticket yet.
One of the shops I do specifically prohibits a purchase of a lottery ticket. And at some of the rural kiosk locations, there is not much more than lottery tickets or cigarettes for sale.
Ritter doesn't ask for any winnings. So, you're free to go ahead and hit the big jackpot! :-)
Ritter does have shops where you have to buy a machine-generated ticket. It can be for the basic Lotto or for Power or Mega as well. I've never won anything, so I have no idea what they'd do.
I take it that you upload an image of the ticket.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

My original scheduler for these told me that the winnings are the shopper's. I only buy machine-generated tickets. When I hit the big one I'm having all my shopper friends over for soup!
