Stericycle Emails Make Me Laugh

Today's Stericycle Email: "...shops have been flying off the shelves this month." This line is followed by a long list of several hundred shops that still need to be completed.

The top shelf that broke from the amount of dust piling up on it.
Omg! A shopper in my area is taking gas stations shops for $4.00. Are you kidding me! They don't pay anymore but why would they when they can get someone for peanuts. They lost a big gas station company and will probably lose another. Such a shame, sometimes you get what you pay for.

It was definitely much easier to get the single fee increase email and the occasional available shops emails. Unfortunately, the current schedulers have made mistake after mistake and are probably reducing their chances of getting jobs filled. The song and dance they gave as an excuse for discontinuing the previous system made no sense at all.

In the last week I have seen the following:

Five or six duplicate emails sent within minutes of each other. (The explanation is I am situated on some magical point where five different regions meet.)

Please contact me to be assigned sent from the "noreply" email address without a scheduler name, extension or email address.

Lists of 50 plus jobs sorted by job ID rather than state. The scheduler must have realized that wasn't working well and is now sending them out sorted by due date. (Yeah, that makes it so much easier.)

Subject lines touting good commissions without telling what those commissions might be. The shop in question also offered to waive age restrictions. Because I am currently outside the age requirement the shops don't show up so checking the website for an address and fee is impossible.

It is hard to compete with shoppers who take shops for $4.00. They must really need the money and/or reimbursements. It's unfortunate because it hurts the entire industry, from us shoppers unable to make an amount worthy of our work to the quality of work the companies will receive.

Likewise, it has driven me crazy that I can't respond to emails that say "just respond to this email." Why can't they just send the emails from their email accounts or at least provide us with a contact email address?
Stericycle has lost more than a big oil company. They lost a large grocery chain too. I always loved CRI shops, but they are becoming scarce and not paying well enough for the time to even do the paperwork and enter.
This just another low paying food shop. I accept one if my family wants to eat their and I at least will break even after my gas expense. Sometimes the reimburse does not cover the cost of your food even without the tip.
How about the emals that say they've increased the pay.....only to find out that the new pay is $5.67
I just find all of this disgusting!

I made a lot of money with this company and now, it's going to pots.

Another one going to bite the dust soon. Very sad for me. sad smiley

Same with Feedback Plus. sad smiley
If they are paying 4, they as a company are probobly getting...45? Man, only four dollars. They will burn out soon and stop shopping. The person will probobly accuraqtely state that they could not make any money doing it.

Umm, Chrono? Watch your language -- what I mean is, a little proofreading will help you not come across as uneducated. If this is how you write your reports, well...

I haven't seen much change in the number of shops available with Stericycle in my neck of the woods, but what I dislike, and the reason I don't do more of their shops, are the stupid quizzes and the fact that they do not put all of the shop instructions in a printable format.

I never understood the payment structure with the odd pay amount ex 5.67. It seems like the pay takes forever with them to get accepted now. Did one gas stations shop at close to $15 was not worth it. I do shops that are easy with them like the ice cream ones. Small pay but easy and free Ice cream. They may be bought out by another MSP soon.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
