CORI IE Requirement

This may be a dumb question, but am I correct in my understanding that I can not enter CORI shops on a MAC, since they only allow Internet Explorer as their reporting-compatible browser? Lame! Or am I missing something?

They say IE, but I only use Chrome and have had no problems. Actually, when I had an iphone, I used Safari a couple of times and that worked, as well.
you can enter with any browser and it will work. But
on the rare occasion that they lose the report or photos
and you did not use IE it will automatically be your fault
even though it wasn't. But that is rare and you should have
no issue.

Yes. CORI was bought out last year by Stericycle and rechristened Expert Solutions. CORI mostly remains the vernacular on the Forum.
Techman has it correct. The only thing to add is that their website was apparently designed to work with IE only. Back in the day when IE was insecure enough to stop using it that was a problem. Now, that's not a problem. But I can second Techman's observation that on those rare but too infrequent hiccups occur when you aren't using IE - the problem becomes your fault. That occurs even when I was using a plug-in called IE Tab Plus - which is supposed to make the webpage think IE is the browser being used.

Maybe a future version of their website will bring them into the mainstream.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
I use a Mac. generally with Safari, but have tried with Firefox. I can enter reports, but sometimes am stuck clearing error messages every line. Not every project, but many.
I have never mqanaged to successfully use Firefox. So I just bite the bullet and use IE. A nuisance, but not that much of a nuisance. (My day job company also enforces use of IE for HR matters, so I can't escape it anyway.)

The last shop that I did for them I did in IE I had completed the shop and hit enter, after I fulfilled the word count requirements (you know 99 characters, you need 100), I hit enter LOST the entire report, it turned into something like a notepad document. So I printed it out and said that it must be a fluke. I re entered the report lost it again! Shut the computer down started it up again and re entered it, lost it again. I gave up and called the scheduler he was great, but I was a mess.

I recently bought a MAC, and have not been able to shop for CORI anymore because I get an error message when I try Chrome, Safari or Firefox. How are you guys getting it to work?
Have you tried IE? Isn't there some kind of compatibility feature that enables Mac users to run Windows programs? I could swear my sister has something like that on her Mac.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
We tried to install IE on the MAC, but it looks like they used to allow it to be installed but don't any longer.
When using Chrome I always got some type of error message at the beginning. The pop up box had some option to check to keep it from coming up again. Once checked, the report was smooth sailing.

98% of the time, Firefox worked just fine for me when submitting reports on their site. But when it didn't, it was clinch time. I got through it, but it resonated. If, in the future, I shop for this MSC who, for years, has demonstrated limited platform capabilities, only accepting one browser, I will use IE rather than lose a shop. Similarly, for seven-plus years, their site reports issues with Yahoo Mail. When an MSC has an issue with browsers and email provider, seems to me this is their problem, not mine. They need to retool.

Yes, this has been my experience, as well. None of the listed browsers work for me with the CORI reporting. I always have to wait for my husband to get home and use his PC, which is annoying.

I use a PC and I have had problems inputting shops for them, I have just given up. I wonder why it is that they only work well with one browser, is this common?
