Hi, choku, welcome to the forum. We are mystery shoppers, not mystery shopping companies. The list of companies is for convenience in signing up. But we don't have any special knowledge about which companies have shops in different locations. I would say almost 100% of us are either USA or Canadian shoppers and have very little idea which companies have shops in other countries.
Hello. I am looking into becoming a mystery shopper. Can anyone tell me if there are companies I should avoid doing shops for? Also, Is there another way to get the companies my SS # without posting it online. The reason I am concerned about doing it online is because I just don't know which companies are legit. Which brings me to another question. How do I know if a company is legit?
Thank you so much for your help.
Welcome Derenda! I am new too (since end o DEc.) and I have found this forum to be extrememly helpful! I think just about everyone here will tell you to read, read, read! It is good advice.

Some companieswill et you telephone o email the ss #.

Good luck, I am enjoying shoppng very much!
Thank you for your reply, Tumbleweed.
I did take a lot of time today to read many posts on this forum. It is very helpful.
I have done many video and audio shops for EPMS. They pay like clockwork. Any shop accepted by them by the 7th of the month is paid via direct deposit on the 22nd.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Since the poster above has not stated what she/he has to accuse Regal with, I am posting to say that I have done dozens of shops for them with no problems. Pay and reimbursement is 60 to 90 days, but reliable.

If a poster posts about a specific problem and gives some details, I am willing to read and consider what was posted. If a poster just makes a statement with no explanation, I consider it worthless. A poster with a legitimate gripe, even if the poster later turns out to be incorrect, will usually give some details to validate his post.
It appears that Wireless Store Shopper is no more. I just went to log in and got a GoDaddy site advertising the domain. On the other hand they had moved their shops to Technology Shopper anyway. Guess they just made the change 'official' by ditching the old domain.
hi,i the new mystery shopper from malaysia.
i had join three companies and do a lot of banking shop.
are anyone from malaysia? we can share experiance together.
Thank you for the mystery shopping list, it is really helpful. The Realise Group (http://www.therealisegroup.com.au/) are another amazing mystery shopper company. I have recently done some work for them before my full time job, they paid well and got to mystery shop some big Australian companies.
A word to the wise...you should never send anything sensitive like a ss# via email. It's about the least secure means of communication. If you use a phone make sure it is a corded landline, not a cordless home phone or a cellular phone.
Many of these companies list themselves as "International" and they are likely to serve Europe as well. Your best bet would be either to find shopper forums in your area of Europe or check the MSPA website for member companies in Europe. That site is [www.mysteryshop.org] and click on the map for Europe to start directing you to companies that shop your area.
Can anyone tekk me how to go about getting video shops and which companies to apply to. Do any of them do any training or lend you equipment? If so, how does that work?
Thank you in advance.

Pobo,
Please do a search here of "all dates" for "video". You will find what you need. There are also extensive threads on video at volition.com, where a lot of video shoppers hang out.

I like [www.intelli-shop.com]. Have gotten a few jobs from them. Good experience with them.

You should not pay for a list or a job. Jobslinger+ charges a fee. Jobslinger.com does not charge a fee. choose Jobslinger.com

MSPA certification may be worth the silver certification. Gold certification cost a lot more to qualify. See MSPA.com and choose to try for the silver certification
Nice list, now if we can further break it down as to WHERE they have shops and WHAT type of shops, it would eliminate a lot of key tapping to look at each MSP.

I know this will never happen as each MSP hopes to expand their coverage and the types of shops they offer. Still some are happy just covering a certain sector or a certain state or region. Good job on listing them.

Trying to get an INTEGRITY RATING would be difficult because some shoppers love a MSP and others will never work for that company again. Some deserve to go out of business because only newbies shop there until they get wise. To each their own opinion.
I find jobslingerplus.com to be a real timesaver since I can target certain shop criteria and receive notices of them posting, plus I can aggregate all of my Sassie Shop companies. The fee was worth it to me since they offer a discount for the first year for silver certified members; that was incentive for me to get certified. I notice I receive more shops with some companies since being silver certified; it really depends on whether a company puts much weight on certification, however, and if there is a lot of competition in your area.

My guess is that if your objective is to work with SASSIE companies there is possibly an advantage. Relatively few of my shops use the SASSIE platform and those that do seem to be low paying and sort of the "original amateur hour". Just today after performing and reporting a shop I expressed some surprise at a particular item to the scheduler and found out that what they meant for me to represent was the exact OPPOSITE of what the instructions stated. Grrrrr. I just don't find that kind of nonsense in the more professional companies.
GOD BLESS YOU JacobJ! I was told by a friend the only "safe" companies were those listed on the MSPA website.
The MSPA website lists those companies who have paid their membership dues to join the MSPA. There are many legitimate companies who have chosen not to become members, and there are a number of companies who are members that shoppers have had troubles with receiving payments according to schedule or had other serious issues. What it boils down to is it is no guarantee of appropriate behavior, nor is it a list of the "best" companies. The MSPA represents companies, not shoppers.
