Sinclair

Anyone tried that X--O thing? Did it once and failed, is the company worth it? Kind of silly IMO.

No idea what you're talking about. What "X -- O" thing? I signed up with them almost 2 years ago.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Yes. As I recall it said something like "X comes before O" "What is after X" It's been 3 years but as soon as I saw the test, my mind "got it" and I finished it quick. I was surprised I got it right! But this was in the days where I was signing up for 300 companies and some of them had "quizzes" as I recall..I must have been in a great quiz mode because I passed a lot of the tests!smiling smiley
I remember this test. Like it has been stated, it is all logic. Take your time and read each question word by word, and you should be able to pass. Write the X's and O's down as you read it if you are not a logic type of person. The visual should help you.
Oh, I've taken some simple tests like that. Maybe I did one for them. If an MSC requires some kind of quiz or test to sign up or shop for them, I just do them. Not something I'm likely to remember 2 years later.

Its one of those tests that you can't put too much thought in. Otherwise, you'll second guess yourself and fail.
It was definitely NOT easy for me! I failed twice, and on the third try I spent 30 minutes making sure I didn't mess up.

This is EXACTLY what I did! It's not math (honest) its just simple logic. Which comes next? If X is in front of O but O is behind X and they go in chronological order which is next X or O? (made this up because I don't remember the test anymore) Once you get it...you "GET IT" smiling smiley
I remember the test and took it (a few times) years ago. It was not logical for me. I must have eventually passed because I conduct a lot of shops (many bonused in my area) for Sinclair.
If you are struggling with your X, O test, you can always contact your Account Assistant. :-)

is this something new? I've been shopping with them for years....and I will NEVER pass one of those tests....guess i'm not logical!
I passed it on my first try. It helps to read each one slowly and out loud.

I failed a Sinclair test - so embarrassing. I really was not paying that much attention and picked wrong answer twice. I knew the correct answer but failed the test. Humiliating to my ego.
I really like this company and I encourage anybody who is having a problem passing the tests to contact "ctamariz" as s/he suggested. I just did a bank shop and I felt the fee (not bonused) was above reasonable and the report was refreshingly easy.

Gotta admit though, their grocery out-of-stock audits were a one-and-done for me.

They are one of those companies who seems to have a few gems mixed in with all the dogssmiling smiley

I like the grocery OOS audits. I feel like they're paying me to get some exercise. I'm a reformed couponer, though, so I'm REALLY familiar with grocery store aisles and layouts.
The only shop Sinclair has in my area are for those twisted soft dough things covered in cinnamon and sugar, where you hope the cashier remembers to upsell you the sweet glaze. There's one really close to my house that I'll take just for the hell of it, because I love those things, and the reports are *so* easy. Then there's one a ways away, that sometimes gets an OK bonus on it. I just don't do the one location that's deep within the mall. Because I can't walk that far, even for cinnamon-sugar & sweet-glaze goodness.

The only other shop I've ever seen with them in my area, is for some kind of eatery that I've never heard of, and is fifty or more miles away. Never seen banks, grocery audits, or anything else in my area with them.

And yeah, that test was fun. Love stuff like that.

I would love to do one of those soft dough things. I love the original dipped in butter ones!
Lisa, It must be regional. I love every single one of their shops.

Whoa, so you're doing the grocery out-of-stocks? If so, I bow to you, cubbiecat. smiling smiley

Just did two very bonused shops for them at the airport. They have grocery, ff, and, clothing retail shops in my town. The reports are not difficult.
