I am starting to hate CORI

I rarely ever get a response.

I rarely ever get through on their chat.

I can hardly ever get a straight answer on anything.

I SWEAR they have changed shop restrictions after I signed up for shops - aka, 18-40 age range for tobacco compliance shops, which sometimes show 18-27. I've asked several times about this and was told 18-40 is correct. I sign up for a bunch, and now all the sudden they are 18-27 only. I just had to drop a handful because the restrictions have changed in past week since I signed. I'm not crazy, I swear, and I wish I had print PDF'd all of them when I signed up and printed the chats I did have and confirmation of the correct age range.

I want to love them, I really do. But they're making it so hard. I get paid on time (and weekly) and I think their reports are fairly easy.

If you don't like a company, sign up for two or three more and move on. The alternative is to put up with their deficiencies. It's your business.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
I don't hate them but they're definitely more difficult to work with these days. Very difficult to reach them at times and then they are often not very helpful.
I'm signed up with like 50 other companies. They just happen to have a lot in my area and a couple I enjoy doing. I've got my eggs spread between plenty of baskets but they are becoming more difficult to deal with over time.

I wanted to vent, I guess that was all, and perhaps see if others are feeling the same way.
I'm not a big fan of them either. I've emailed them in the past about things, and they've never responded. I hate having to take the stupid tests, only to find out that the commission is $3. I used to do a lot of work for them, but since they've lost several clients I rarely do any work for them.
I don't check their boards as often because it seems like they have the FF/Ice Cream Specialist shop or a certain chain of car wash places around here....I miss the other FF shops they used to have....and you are right, the commissions aren't great either (mostly reinbusement only)...

Silver certified (since 2009) and willing to do shops all around the greater Chicago, NW Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin areas (including airports!.
I deactivated myself from them a few months ago. No work around here anymore.

I miss Cori too and it's too bad things changed so much there. sad smiley
Maybe its something new with them or maybe its always been that way: I never noticed it before.

I was trying to put a route together mixing gas stations from one MSC and mystery shops from another. I noticed Steri/Cori had some of their famous baby shops and famous bath shops listed on the route I wanted to do.
I checked to see if their shop dates were open and sure enough, they were all available on the day I wanted to do my route. After reserving 5 of them, I went to assign them and found that once I assigned one of them, I could no longer do the rest in the same day. Mind you, the other baby and bath shops were miles and miles apart.

Its no wonder that those shops sit on their assignment boards!
I think it's always been that way. You can only do one a day for that brand which includes the baby store and bath store. The baby store isn't too bad, but watch out for that bath store. It just keeps getting more and more complicated. They'll have to raise the fee back up to the way they used to be ($40+) before I'll consider another.

Check the list of Mystery Shopping Companies at the bottom of the page and look for any with the word "International" in the name. And try Albatross, they are international. I think Coyle might be also.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Helion as well.

Plan the work. Work the plan.
Their schedulers are overworked and underpaid, which probably explains the lack of response and/or their response time. Doesn't justify them being rude, just the need to be direct and move onto the next email.

I believe I heard each scheduler deals with something like 3000 shops...I've never heard of any other scheduler dealing with over 800 shops, just what I've heard.

I think many of their office staff don't have experience in this industry, but just my thoughs from working with them in the past.

Its almost unfair to judge them for me, because working primarily with Eagle Eye [www.eagleeyeshops.com] was a totally different experience where I was given a guaranteed recurring large amount of shops monthly. It gets tiring having to constantly be snagging jobs to get work, and sometimes simple mistakes result in them just not paying you.

I used to really enjoy working with them, but they seem to have lost important clients. They mainly have a ton of fast food shops in my area, which I'm not interested in unless very highly bonused.
