Question about Mintel shops?

I recently completed my first shops for Mintel. I did three on Oct. 16th and 1 on Oct. 24th.

The one for Oct. 24th already says it's approved and the payment is being processed. The other three (from a week earlier) still say awaiting approval. They haven't contacted me about any errors or needing additional info. Should I be worried?

You should be absolutely fine lisams901. You can go to your shop history and query for your shops. If a shop has been 'published' it seems to mean that Mintel has edited it and put it out to the client. While the client could still ask for some clarification or additional information I suppose, once it is 'published' your contract with them is considered successfully completed. I do direct deposit with them and usually spot payment in my account 3-5 business days after it is marked as processed for payment. Recent payments from them have been less than 2 weeks after the shop was reported.

I LOVE Mintel. I sure wish they had more shops here. They pay FAST, their instructions are usually very clear to me, and I never hear anything from them about shops or editing.

And when things go bonkers on a shop I have found them ready to share the laugh once they realize I am shaking my head in disbelief and laughing. Up to that point they have always been sympathetic and concerned, but when they realized my ego was not battered and bruised by the event it, they can laugh with me. I have never had a shop rejected by them even when it totally did not work as planned.

Mintel has never even asked a single question about one of my shops for them. I LOVE them. They even pay quickly.
