Maritz descriptions - not seeing them?

Hey,
I'm new to Maritz and am looking at a big box hardware store on the board, but pay is low. The description is lame and I cannot see any guidelines or job outline. I don't want to take a low paying job and get stuck with some horrendous shop. Is this normal for Maritz? I wrote to their help desk asking a similar question (below) but wanted a faster response, which I know this board of friendly people will give me!??

Hello,
I am new to Maritz and am looking at the job board. I do not see any description of the shop, or guidelines to review prior to applying for the job. It simply says, **Mystery Shop - $12 shopper pay + $1 product purchase!** Am I not seeing something, or is that how the Maritz system works? I much prefer to see some guidelines or description prior to applying, especially when pay is low.
Thanks for clarifying.

It is very similar to the other MSC that had that shop. Report can be a trace cumbersome, with uploads and invoice, but no big deal. I usually try to wait for a bonus, unless I am in the area anyway.
I did that shop yesterday, a piece of cake! Each scenario pertains to a different section of the store but I love that kind of store and usually take wayyy longer than they think is normal. Was in there yesterday over 2 hours just because I was having a good time.

There is no such thing as a shop description on Maritz job board. It's annoying to me.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for.

If you emailed them you may not want to hold your breath while you wait. They are better to contact via phone. In my area, these are gone before they get bonused. And not worth $12. There are basically two interactions for which you must wait 5 minutes before seeking assistance and then a purchase. They can go fast but only if you are able to get help quickly - which rarely happens in my area. sad smiley
Since Maritz was named, we can't name the client here. But since you know the client already, go ahead and search for its name on this Forum and you'll find a wealth of information. (BTW's: There's better's information's on's the's search's if's you's spell's the's client's name's properly's in's the's search's field's)
Those are good filler shops, if your already doing a few in the area. The report isn't bad once you get used to it. There is some narrative so if you hate that you've been warned. I wait for bonuses, unless I'm trying to make a trip somewhere worthwhile then I will add one in. I get big bonuses to do these in out of the way places from time to time.
You can have all of them Big Blue box stores for $12.00, I prefer the Big Orange box stores. Couple of questions and you are out. 20 to 40 minute report and $15.00 richer. Too bad the Big Red one closed 20 years ago. But hey, it was a Kmart company what do you expect. Nobody, is satisfied just gotta have more an more, next thing someone else has your business.
This company is not afraid of paying incentives at the end of a period. I have found them the best company to work for with the less amount of stress. I have travel over 900 miles to do six shops and two nights in the hotel for $ 900 and change. The bank shops are the best for they take 10 minutes at the location and with calling and mailing info that takes 45 minutes to do the report and file. Those shops I have done for $ 30 to $ 50 depending on how far you want to travel.
