Maritz Shoppers

I think I may have had my first shop rejected with Maritz and wondered how they let you know. It was a difficult shop as the associate took a phone call during the presentation then said she needed to take care of something and walked away. I waited 10 minutes but she didn't return. Anyway, it's sitting in the holding window and has been for nearly 10 days so how do you know if a Maritz shop is rejected?

In the past, if they've ever had questions or needed more info about one of my shops, they've called or, if I remember correctly, posted the request on the website, identifying the shop.

Thankfully, I've never had a shop rejected, so I'm not familiar with the process, but I have had several of their shops linger for unnerving lengths of time.

I would suggest calling them tomorrow.

Good luck!

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
The one time I had a shop rejected by them I had been shopping less than 6 weeks. I accepted a shop over the phone and wasn't home to print out the paperwork. I had done the shop several times but I got the scenario wrong. They called me to tell me it had been rejected. It didn't seem to affect my score because another scheduler told me later that I had a high score. So anyway, I have had shops sit there for quite awhile as well, and even disappear and then show back up.

They will email you or call you if they want more information, so just sit tight. Probably everything is ok.
I have not had one rejected, but I often have several completed shops just sitting there any given time (8 right now.) Editors could be backlogged, or they could be verifying exceptional circumstances. I wouldn't worry, but it couldn't hurt to call.
Earlier this year I had one on hold for a full month. It was a closed location and was part of a route, so the large route bonus was being delayed. They needed to verify its closed status.
I have had two shops put on hold by Maritz. Both of them were on hold due to my error. On one I forgot to write the visit ID on the document I uploaded. The other was an issue with the quality of the upload.

I am pretty sure that I received a message from Maritz on my home page; and that each time I was able to go to my current shops page, click on the words "on hold" and edit the debrief/correct the error.

I would call them, there have been times when one of my shops were stuck on hold with clarification needed. Give them a call and find out if there is something wrong.

Motivation increases when we assume large responsibilities with a short deadline.
I had two on hold recently for over three weeks. Both had oddities that occurred during the shop.
A few days ago they were paid.
Normally, if there is a problem with a shop it goes on the current shops list on hold. I would suggest that you definately call them and explain your concern.
