MaritzCX - December 15th Checks

Has anyone received their December 15th paycheck from MaritzCX yet? As of today (12/23/14), I have not received mine. When I talked to their accounting department, they told me the December 15th date. I am not sure if that was the process date or the mailed out date. I know USPS is probably overloaded at this time of year but I am curious if anyone else has received this payment.

They are mailing out new checks today and that will be it for 2014.

Sybil, I got a check dated December 14. I believe it came yesterday, the 22nd, not positive. It may have been Saturday the 20th. I'm on a rural route in Texas and my mail is not the best. And my mail person is not the best either, but I guess I'll keep her.

Thanks, MDavisnowell. I use a PO Box directly at the post office so I usually get my mail quicker than someone using a physical address. With mail fraud running rampant these days, I wish they would stop processing checks and switch to PayPal or direct deposit.

I received mine on Saturday, 12/20.

I received mine a few days ago, I forget the exact day.

If I don't get this check soon, it will have to be "stop checked" and then have them reissue a new check which won't happen until 2015. But Maritz is sending me a 1099 for my 2014 earnings with them. I base my taxes on a calendar year of amount earned/paid by 11:59 PM on December 31st. This is really going to throw things off.

Received mine Saturday, check dated 12/12/14. But the checks are good for 90 days so there's no need to stop the check. Your 1099 will reflect money paid in 2014 and that will be true whenever it's received.

Unless the money is in my hot, little hands or sitting in my bank account, I do not consider it being paid. That is the old "the check is in the mail" scam.

Received my December 15th check on December 24th. Still have not been paid for end of October/beginning of November shops.

I wish they would do direct deposit. The mail around here is getting slower. They are closing a distribution center in Paducah, Ky the first of the year and that will make it even slower.

Mine is dated 12/22/2014. I have already deposited it...

I got my last check Dated 22-December 2014 on 27-December 2014. This was for to shops completed by December 14, 2014

It appears to me that those checks were written for holiday as well as end of year tax purposes.

Nevertheless, their early delivery is welcome!
